I'd rather personally go to the shop half the time. Otherwise I've got to wait for the postie or then pick it up. Could send it to an Amazon locker but it's not that much further than an officeworks. That's just my circumstance, I appreciate that.

@bio: The point is not the time taken but the relative inconvenience of having something home delivered vs buying it myself.
I actually already have an unused 60c plastic ruler from last time.
All my amazon stuff gets left at front door.
@paulaus: Mine gets left outside, I live in a block of units. Not a big deal if I'm in and out, but can be if I'm unaware or out for long periods.
