Just get the ones from Ikea, i found they last just as long and are cheaper (365+).

Couldn't imagine spending this kind of money on non stick anymore, even more so at its RRP. Cast Iron/stainless steel all the way.

      Nobody asked.

Most people are happy with the convenience and ease of use of nonstick

It's Ozbargain, saving money is the game and frying pans that last 2-3 years vs something that lasts a lifetime is the absolute spirit of this place.
Cast Iron is just as easy to use as non stick. No need to lash out because you can't cook.

        • "Cast Iron is just as easy to use as non stick.".
          Lol, sure buddy
          "You only need to…"
Yeah that's why it's not as easy

        • Cast Iron is just as easy to use as non stick. No need to lash out because you can't cook.

Mate, no need to be a d1ckhead.

My mum used to work in a commercial kitchen before she retired. She regularly uses both stainless steel and non-stick pans, and no longer uses cast iron because the weight isn't easy on her wrists anymore. It's not a matter of "can't cook", there are many examples of things for which non-stick is far superior, e.g. omelettes, pancakes, or things which cook at low heat.

At the end of the day, it's just a matter of convenience. I own plenty of stainless steel cookware, but if I'm flipping some pancakes for breakfast or whipping up some scrambled eggs, I'm using my non-stick pan.

@p1 ama: Nobody asked. Lots of people can cook those things no problem on castiron. Skill Issue.

            • @ONEMariachi:

You're literally posting on a discussion thread in an online forum. That's asking for opinion and debate. If you don't like it, then don't post.

Lots of people can cook those things no problem on castiron.

Sure, but there are plenty of examples of why someone might wish not to use cast iron. I gave you an example earlier - my elderly mother can no longer deal well with the weight of cast iron pans, and lightweight non-stick pans work well for her as a substitute.

What do you suggest? That she just doesn't cook?

              Skill Issue.

No idea why people who think they can cook get so uppity about it. Most people can cook, they just don't feel the need to be a loudmouth about it.

FWIW, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/607068 - the irony of you posting a non-stick cookware deal. Get outta here.

@p1 ama: I responded in the same way the person responded to me, whom you were calling me a dick for responding back to him. Just wanted to highlight your hypocrisy, and stupidity there. Well done outing yourself.
Have a glass of milk and go to bed.

Irony? Are you a moron. It was 3 1/2 years ago. I’ve clearly changed my perspective you nonce.

      • @ hmac Have ns, ci and ss. Non-stick gets most use, followed by ss, followed distantly by cast iron.

  • FYI, $9.50 standard shipping to ACT Metro, $20 foe express.

stainless too hard here. 5 x Lodge pans cannot be destroyed.

Is this a deal? I have a non stick tefal, came out of a 99 whole kit I launched for the pan. It gets violated, it's up for annual renewal.

Really filthy violate, pm for details.

  • junk too small

    death to non-stick
unless you also like consuming it.

    • Crayons taste better on non stick

Your info is way out of date.

  • Ninja frypan ftw.
    Tefal so crap now

      Any bargain?

  • where is the deal? Seems like it is a normal price, at least the same price is on amazon. Or people believe in RRP $250 $99 price? )

    • Not rare for an Amazon seller to temporarily price match niiko. Where is it for $99 on Amazon?

      • search these models and size, you can find them separately ~$50 and free shipping

        • Think you're confusing models. There'sonly a couple of Perfect Cook frypans showing in my Az searches and none is anywhere near $99 for 2.
