I wouldn't recommend this. It feels like a $20-30 product. I bought it a couple weeks ago and will be returning it.
It feels very cheaply built as reflected by its price and the nozzle doesn't even feel secure when you are using it. It rattles around in your mouth while in operation.

    • Thanks for the review

    • I got it delivered yesterday. Doesnt feel so. Maybe you got a bad one? Aliexpress also has cheap 10$ ones for those who can wait.

      • Perhaps I may have received a dud but the Soocas one I used for the last 4 years still feels a lot better in everyway. Only replacing because the version I have doesn't allow me to open the water tank for cleaning.
I ordered a Xiaomi one from Aliexpress instead so will see how I go with that one.

      • I mean that is simply the way it works right? These cheap knock offs are a roll of the dice as to whether you will get a quality build or not.

        • Well, thats what the negative reviews are saying too. So yup.

      • -2

He probably expected quality from $300 product. That’s why I don’t really care about user reviews, so many are delusional lol

        • -1

You seem to fit the bill of a delusional person than I do. You haven't even used it and yet you think you know more about the quality of this product than someone who actually ordered and used the product. Sure does sound delusional to me :)

          • -1

@keejoonc: This product is well reviewed on Amazon. You’re probably uptight.

            • -1

@nikoris: Or those people have only tried cheap water floss and don't know any better?

              • -1

@keejoonc: Yep, thanks for confirming my theory

                • @nikoris: If you think paying $25 for a product that's built as a $25 product AND doesn't work that well is a smart move, go ahead and buy it.
You've confirmed my theory that you are delusional.

                  • -1

@keejoonc: Yes mate. You know better than literally everyone.

                    • @nikoris: Oh I know for a fact that I know more than you because I've used it myself. Can you say the same? Until you have tried it yourself, you are just pulling crap out of your backside.

                      • -1

@keejoonc: I’d rather trust the thousands reviews on Amazon than some random dude

                        • -1

@nikoris: I didn't ask for your trust. You are the one claiming someone who used it is wrong about a product when you haven't used it yourself. Does that not compute in your head?

                          • -1

@keejoonc: I Juliet feel sorry for the people around you. Clearly something wrong with you. Wish you all the best from here on mate.

                            • @nikoris: Yeah clearly something wrong with me because I tried a product which I found to be rubbish and here comes Mr Know It All saying my review of the product is not valid. You need to get some help. Even on Amazon, I can see plenty of bad reviews on the product.

    • Just tried mine and it is true that the nozzle isn’t secure. Otherwise it’s alright.

  • I have the Colgate blast:

    https://www.colgate.com.au/products/water-flossers/colgate-b…

    Although it is ridiculously powerful

    • +3

It's also almost 4 times the price.

        • +1

Interestingly enough, I was just going through reviews and pricing. At CW, it's $160 with a 11% discount atm, but you can get the Series 2 of this model for half price at $125 currently instead..

Not the greatest reviews for gen 1 though it seems, fairly hit and miss when avoiding all the people who reviewed after getting the unit for free..

Edit: Amazon also have it for $125.

        • +1

Priceline has an upsized 17% cashback with shopback till 4pm too. Not bad if you're looking for a branded one I guess.

    • Hey bud, do you remmeber how much you paid? Seems Priceline is the only one still on special, half price at $90. I'm very poor with my mouth hygiene but really wanting to look after my teeth more recently..

  • +1

Seems like you can buy large tank ones for 45 with good ratings, though you need to forget about warranty.

    • Thanks for the link! I just spent $30 on a portable one but your one seems to have reallly good reviews at a cracker of a price.

      • Good luck whichever you buy. After using this INSMART ones, i realised that water flossing is more of a temporary solution on the lazy days you dont want to use normal flossing. Using this is like lighting a room using a strong torch instead of standard bulbs. Its not a permanent solution. But still good in its own way.

  • Why does the first picture in the product description, titled "Professional Cordless Water Flosser", also include a picture of someone with a stethoscope?

    • +3

because 99% of amazon is just dropshipped crap from aliexpress

  • How is water floss better than normal floss?

    • -2

It’s not. It’s far worse than normal flossing. It’s just easier for people who don’t or haven’t learnt to floss.

      • +1

I think this really depends on your teeth. If your teeth are nudged against each other some floss will easily beat the waterflossers. I had braces throughout highschool so my teeth are pretty well aligned and I haven't bought physical floss in forever because the water flosser is faster and does just as good a job(confirmed by my dentist over the years). Especially if you still have your wisdom teeth - I find the waterpik I have can get to places that I simply cannot reach with actual floss.

        • Fair point.

    • It's less unpleasant than normal flossing so people tend to use it more often. It's also good for those with implants. It doesn't outright replace normal flossing but it's a nice little addition for freshening up, takes like 30 seconds.

      • True it’s better than no flossing at all.

    • I actually have very small gaps and can't actually get floss between them so water flossers is my only choice

  • +5

Hmm, a lot of them appear to have the same internals, based on design and specs.

I ended up going for the cheapest one, AMXGPT at $16.56, which closely resembles the Sccaty Store one which is $29 after a $10 discount coupon.

    • +2

Great points. Also, urs has usb-c where as OP's appears to be a proprietary connector.
      Order cancelled.

    • Good find, I'm also gonna try this one out!

  • I'd get a corded one after the cordless one dying..
    good price though

  • +4

This should make for one excellent travel bidet with those attachments.

Tip for young players: If you buy an extra to floss with, make sure to clearly label which one (and attachments) is for which end.

    • +1

      Hilarious!

    • +1

      Home business, coffee enemas? 😁

      • +1

Oh wow. You must have seen the Amazon specials on coffee enema starter kits a few weeks ago too.

I was going to post them here as the next logical step up for the coffee connoisseur or afficiendado, but thought might get treated as spam….

        • +1

          Hahaha, go for it!

I'm not gonna' lie, I saw this product and it reminds me of my ear cleaning, "Wush", knockoff and thought maybe it's samesame, but I'm not going to try.. 😅

          • +1

            @WasBargain: Haha, why not.

Like an angel's kiss on the ol' rusty sheriff's badge.

        • +1

Damn, I didnt know people use coffee from other end too.

  • Is it expired? Price is $39.99 now

    • Appear so at $33 now with the code ticked

  • This just reminded me i bought a Voinee water flosser 2yrs ago and it's still in the box lol.
Will have to give it a try and hopefully it works!

  • Just be very careful as its pretty damn powerful use is on pulse with warm water and the head with the white brush otherwise it just causes bleeding
