    I have 2… do I need more?

They are fantastic little torches though.

Personally I have too many i3E EOS, so I stopped buying them.

Still waiting for Olight to bring back 'free' i1R 2 Pro'.

      • i have i1R 2 Pro as my edc - banger, im pretty sure i paid over 25 on amazon too…
saved my bacon on friday when i had to work in the dark and i forgot my work case with both my ryobi work light AND my Wurkkos hd15 - DOH!

      • I'm still waiting for my non-pro one to die so I can upgrade, but it just keeps on kicking.

      • Still waiting for Olight to bring back 'free' i1R 2 Pro

    • Yeah I think I have 3 and 1 of the old good ones that you could charge yourself I think I have enough keyring lights =P

These are pretty handy little torches. Not too sure how much further than $8 I'd spend on them, but at that price I think it's worth having.

  • Think I've got 3 x i3E and 3 x i1R 2 Pro. Don't feel the need for any more $7.95 EDC torches so haven't bitten last few times :)

    Oh in 2 days

I got one of these free the other week - interesting theyre running the promo again. Handy for $7.95 but also uses a normal battery, so not rechargeable (just in case anyone thinks it might be)

    • +1

This promo is basically run every few weeks. I have a heap of these

    • Just to be super clear, rechargeable AAA batteries are fine ;)

      • Yep! Meaning it's not a rechargable torch like other models. My eneloop AAA seem to be working fine when tested 😂

Same one they did a couple of weeks ago?

Worth it if so, durable, small and AAA.

Only thing is the light is a bit meh, but what can you do when it's so small…..

Slightly brighter than my phones torch.

I spun the wheel and got another i3e. so $7.95 for 2, definitely worth it :)

  • How much stronger is it than a phone torch?

    • +1

Depends on your phone, but it's about twice as bright.

  • Anyone recommend a decent torch <$20 for just general household/automotive use?

Something maybe a bit bigger and brighter is fine

Seems like they can be run on 10440 LiPo batteries to boost the output.. will be getting one

edit: according to a comment on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8P7RP8u4G_Q it seems only some i3E have the LiPo capability

  • Wuben C3 is my go to, USB-C rechargeable. Feels pretty solid, comes up fairly regularly for $29.95 on Amazon iirc. As for Brightness. It’s 1200 Lumens. I got the belt pack for it as well but mostly keep one at home and one in the tool box. Think it has a 16850 Li-Ion battery in it and if you can be bothered, fill in the registration details to get an extra year warranty.

Having said that. I used to have a Penlight torch that ran on 2 x AAA and that put out 100 or 200 Lumen - it was super handy if I just needed a bit of light and the phone wasn’t bright enough. Left it on a job. So this Olight might be a good replacement.

All the Wuben I’ve bought have been good torches but I want to try the Olight as I have a colleague has similar to my Wuben C3, which he raves about.

Is it the C2 or C3 that regularly pops up for $30 on Amazon. Do a search. Good torch. Bright and easy to recharge if you keep a USB-C battery pack with you.

    • 1200 Lumens and rechargeable sounds pretty good, dropping down to 100-200 Lumens seems like a huge step down — plus running it on batteries? Did your colleague mention what he liked about Olight over Wuben?

  • Newest one I received has a 5 year guarantee older ones had a lifetime one

  • How does this compare to the small Cree torches?

  • Checked out, nice one, thanks OP
