omg must win lotto first
I don't understand why 5k2k monitors are still so expensive compared to standard 4K…
Lower demand, lower yields with that many pixels, so it's better to load it up with features and sell it as a premium product.
If you really want one, there are cheaper options - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-40-curved-wuhd-5k2k-ips-u…
@freefall101: I bought one of these Kogan 40" 5k2k monitors when it was discounted to $600. Excellent deal at that price point. I made a small review video of it since there was very little information about it online
$429 with free delivery for pre-order from samsung as well: https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/gaming/odyssey-g5-34-inc…
so this is not 4k?
No its an ultrawide 1440p monitor. The resolution is 3440 x 1440 where as a 4k ultrawide would be 3840x2160.
thanks!!!
3840x2160 is standard 16:9 4K.
"old" panel. It has been this price for quite while.
I would get the new Acer or Xiaomi 180hz for a little more than that.
Yeah it has been on special for a bit
I chose to save a few $$s and grabbed the 32" G55C instead when recently on special
If $ no concern ill get two of this stacked for dream work for home setup!
cheaper at samsung affiliated store for $407.55
Is this good for productivity - wfh set up? Hoping for 2 set up of this.
Twin curved monitor is not very good ergonomically for work. I would recommend dual 27inch or 32 inch flat screen for twin-work setup. If you prefer curved go big - 49inch but costly.
WQHD
why they cant make curve 4K ? i get used to 4K already but curvy is sexy
edit: for office work
