$50 regular price - and the $20 price is only available for the first month, even though the bonus data is for 3 months.

Probably need to include that info.

    • Yes def a great deal IF THEY HONOR IT

      • Yeah not a 1 $0 order was actually honoured by them

Unlike this plan which will actually get you full 150 gb data

        • I received all 3 Sim cards today.

  • On a sidenote guys, it is also possible to do a sim swap between LYCA physical/eSim (physical to esim or esim to physical sim)
with lyca as you might have had already imagined the process is quite time consuming, and not user friendly.

But here it is in short (according to a call to their support team)

Going from LYCA Physical Sim to LYCA eSim

Call Lyca CS to get a free eSim sent to your email ID. they might need to confirm you got a esim compatible device (they wont have all phones listed in their compatible list so if they ask for it just say you got like a pixel or galaxy or iPhone latest models with eSim).
Once you get the Esim in your email, it will have ICCID number and PUK code number, and a QR code in that email.
You need to tell Lyca CS about the PUK and ICCID numbers of esim, and your physical sim (physical sim PUK and ICCID would be in your original sim order packaging if unsure), add esim to phone using the QR code.
Lyca CS will swap the physical sim to the eSim then afterwards, expect this to take upto 1 business day (they said 1.5 hrs on call tho)

Going from LYCA Physical Sim to LYCA eSim

In app order the free sim to your address, it will have an option like I JUST WANT A FREE SIM, etc. etc. after BUY Sim something like that.
    OR
Go and pay for a $2 physical sim from local store.
Then Call Lyca CS with Sim ICCID and PUK numbers and details and they will be able to do a transfer from LYCA eSim to LYCA Physical Sim

Their processes are f**ked. When they migrated to the Vodafone network, after no service for 2 months, 5 different SIM cards and a TIO complaint, the service still wasn't working, but at least I was able to receive texts finally, which was all I needed to be able to port out.

      Avoid them.

Edit: Don't pay $2 for a physical SIM in store. It'll likely be attached to their old network provider (Telstra), not the new one (Vodafone) and therefore won't work.

      • hmm sorry to hear you had so many issues with them. I have not had any issues with them so far (except during porting in ofc).

And regardless of our issues I think its important for them to remain competitive like this in pricing, so other telcos are getting some decent competition.
