1) Use the link above and enter code AAEJ001 alongside your email to select 1 of 3 options for a dozen wines, with an additional 2 free red's and 2 stemless glasses.
2) EDIT: Continue through the checkout to add your details, select a password, and click through to Paypal. On the Paypal page, select 'Cancel and Return to Virgin Wines' at the bottom of the page.
3) After you've returned from Paypal, go back to the Virgin Wines home page after it's in your cart, and enter the code GET50 to get another $50 off, bringing the total to $39 before shipping.

Also gets you 2000 Velocity Points if you enter your Velocity Frequent Flyer number.

NOTE: It appears checking out signs you up to a 'Wine Plan' which may charge you for another dozen in 12 weeks. You can email/call them to cancel the plan, or if you've used Paypal just remove Virgin Wines from your automatic payments on Paypal which will prevent further charges.

The 12 Wines can be either 12 Red, 12 White, or a mix of 6 & 6. Doesn't appear to let you choose the 2 free bottles, which are pre-set as Zonte's Footstep Super Trooper Shiraz Cabernet

Quick Google shows the price of individual bottles ranging from $18-22 each.

Delivery appears to be an additional $10.99 bringing the total to $49.99 (based on an address in Metropolitan Sydney)

  • Hi OP, I went back to the homepage after adding a case to the cart but couldn’t find where to put in the GET50 code. Are you able to assist pls?

    • same issue here

    • Click on the cart icon on the top right of the homepage, select "Go To Your Cart", and when you are viewing cart there is a box for "Enter Voucher Code" below your Order Summary on the right hand side of the page.

I'm on desktop, not mobile, in case its different

      • are you signed in? on desktop as well
i think thats the issue. If you don't already have a VW account, and click the homepage it clears the cart

I had clicked through after selecting the dozen on the first promo page, so I'd added my details, selected a password, gone through to Paypal and then hit 'cancel and return' on the Paypal page before going back to the VW homepage

Not 100% sure if that's a required step as I'm already signed up now, but sounds like it may require stepping through and adding details to create an account if it's clearing your cart?

Updated the info on the original post - didn't realise it might be required

@Cheezbrgr: Just tried this and it works!

            • @Astrounicornz: oh man looks like its just me then. Tried the paypal route too and when i clock the return to VW page I go to the link OP posted (so have a cleared cart again and no way to input the voucher).

@JDMcarfan: After you return from Paypal, it might take you back to the promo page, but then going to virginwines.com.au right after should keep the items in your cart.

Only other thing I can think of is browser privacy settings/cookies may be needed to maintain the cart.

I couldn’t remove the wine subscription from my cart so I used a disposable credit card number. I urge you all to do the same. Some reviews say they just charging no matter what. Well, good luck getting blood from a stone!

    Thanks OP

    • FAQ Says you have to call/email them to cancel it - no button on the website

      • Yeah and other reviews say they’ve called them five times and keep being promised to cancel but they just keep getting billed - refunded - billed. In a never ending cycle. I’m not gonna take that chance.

        • Fair enough - added to the description above.

Paypal has the option to cancel the billing agreement after you've checked out so they won't be able to make any further charges

  • Anyone get a confirmation email?

    • Yep, looks like it

  • Ordered but no confirmation email ? Anyone else?
