the water bottle thing is basically a matter of fashion and religion at this point

@Save Medicare: Its bloody hilarious seeing the numpties of the 4x4 world hashtag the shit out of these water bottle brandd.
Such is the power of marketing that their chosen brand is only used for one season

guessing that since this started last Thursday we'd just be on the runner's up subscribed mailing list by now.

  • 818 clicks..

If you're in Sydney, usually Tempe Tyre is cheaper and their price includes balance and fitting.

  • My details including address is not worth a crappy cup.

    • -1

Fake name. Burner mobile from the many free/100% cashback sim deals. Email address just for spam/marketing purposes.

Who cares if they have your address? Nobody is door knocking. RTS if you get junkmail.

Dodgy post. Absolute certainty that more than 250 registrations were received before the OP/store rep posted this.

    Dodgy AF. Have a downvote.

    • How did you know @mongos

It's been on their Facebook page since Friday. Probably promoted through several other channels too.

If it was random 250 winners, I would upvote but the “competition” is over by now and they are still phishing for contact details.

    • +2

The yeti has their filthy branding all over it too, what an embarrassing bottle.

  • +1

Seems like a competition rather than a bargain

I accept BFGoodrich competition terms and conditions *

    • +5

As a condition of accepting the Prize, the Winner may be required to sign any legal
documentation in the form required by the Promoter and/or suppliers and service providers
of the Prize in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and
      indemnity form.

      Tumbler dodginess intensifies.

  • I wouldn't be caught dead drinking anything out of this shitty looking tumbler with ugly enormous branding all over. Not for free. Not if you paid me. No, thank you

BFG KO2 tyres are really bad in the wet would not recommend, Offroad they are pretty good but other brands like Falken Wildpeaks are much better
or Nitto Ridge grappler or Maxxis razor

    • +1

If you have personal experience of this, fair enough. My personal experience is that the ko2's have been excellent (80,000km+ on two sets) and I can't wait for the ko3's to come out.

      • Yeah personally experience I have Wildpeaks now really rate them
Hopefully the KO3 will be better than the previous

      • havent driven either but had an extensive convo with my friendly tyre shop guys when ive had sets installed (G015 and AT52).
KO2 had a compound change in 2020 that has been linked to the really poor wet performance compared to KO2's of old, and thus have fallen out of favour.
This issue is quite well reported across forums and hopefully BFG is taking feedback on the chin and revising the compound on the KO3.

Wildpeaks whilst good have also fallen foul of my installer. They insist its a good tyre but previous pricing delta's between them and equivalent KO2/G015 have vanished making them much less appealing (esp when Yokohama has tyre guarantee's on their models).

Those G015 were the best gripping AT I've ever driven them. I've sent it in the rain and never lost traction. The AT52 on the new car are about 7/10 as good for half the money (G015 not available otherwise would've picked)

        • I got wildpeaks now, had G015s recently, bought both in the last 12 months. (Different cars)

I prefer the G015s, grip wise both are good but the G015s felt a lot smoother and quieter to drive on. Maybe poor balancing but the wildpeaks feel like they vibrate a bit and have that classic AT tyre sound

          • @Boioioioi: Yeah the G015 behave like proper all round road/highway tyres on tarmac, and are quite low noise. I rate them to anyone who wants a AT

            • @JDMcarfan: Indeed I too would recommend. On my car the Wildpeaks do look chunkier and cooler though haha

    • +1

Agree with this, KO2 are the worst tyres ive ever had in the wet, changed to falken wildpeaks so much better and won't be going back

  • The form is open and I submitted it just in case

    • +1

The form is still open so that they can collect data.

  • +1

Just got an email saying I won a Tumbler, think I registered right after this post went up.

    • Nice.
