    For $5 on AliExpress can get a decent polyester or nylon without any logos, soft material, doesn't breath well though.

    Merino wool from macpac is like $35, I have a few but have to be very careful to only do cold wash with wool safe detergent otherwise they pill and/or shrink really bad.

      I have some old ones so I will gently hand wash them all at once in wool wash. Best is the ear flap style.

    total tools have rotie beanies for $10, they are 3M thinsulate and double layer, but some people like brand name logos … bit like kmart plain hoodie vs brand name hoodie., especially kids, they are into brands, never hear someone getting robbed by youth gang and they take their new balance shoes, it’s always brand name like nike that youth gang members steal.

    Dunno I got a arcteryx toque beanie for $30 to get free postage when i was ordering some shoes.. pretty good quality (not full acrylic).
