Then it's not cheap at all.
No GST, i believe
luck of the draw, really.
"Will I be charged any GST (Australia) or VAT (the UK)?"
"No, we 100% guarantee you that you will not be charged any GST or VAT. Any additional charges will be billed to us directly. The price you pay to us is all you have to pay to receive the order.
Australia: We achieve this by sending your orders to our logistic centres in Australia first; and then divert it to you."
I'm sure their 'logistics centre' is actually their Uncle Ed, who'll be receiving hundreds of cameras with the postage box ticked 'gift.
Uncle Ed is a hero
A classy camera that puts other run-of-the-mill designs in the shade. It exudes heritage charm and range-finder precision.
Alas, many like me can only drool over it. The price without a twin lens kit is simply too high.
I shall have to content myself with the E-P3.There is no GST required. The price is final which doesn"t include any extra fee.
Hi op, is this Australian stock with manufacturer's warranty?
Not manufacturer's warranty
I buy from myer. Around $1190 with bonus gift card.
Hi Rep, could you offer a great deal on either a Canon S100/S110 and Sony RX100?
also waiting on a deal on the S100
Your order will be sent from Hong Kong and protected with our 18-Month Door-to-Door Warranty. If you find any manufacturing faults with the order, simply send us a warranty request and we will send a courier to your door, pick up the malfunctioning item, and have it sent back to our office directly; all of these without you paying a cent. http://cameraparadise.com/en/warranty/This is nor a bargain, Myer always has sales on their DSLR's and ILC's, and it's always around 15-20% off, you're guaranteed to get it around $1200, many people have.
Might as well get local stock.
Please let us know how Myer is cheaper than us? We are selling at $1168.58 which is cheaper than them.
For ~$30 difference, people are better off buying at Myer - especially if something go wrong with the camera down the track. Plus, for ~$1200, that's a lot of Myer One points that could be used on something else.
Customers will receive a weekly discount coupon from email after purchasing in Camera Paradise, so this offer could be used in the next purchase as well.
I understand what you're saying, but then they would have to factor in shipping and return shipping if something goes wrong down the track.
You need to have substantial savings on your products if you wish for people on OzBargain to buy them. A ~$30 difference (and no local warranty) results in this posting being a bad deal. I mean, not ONE single positive vote, and one negative speaks for itself.
Also factor in ~$120 GST on top.
