How is the $295 pp price in the title related to the total cost you calculated at $1242? Surely it should be $295x2 as the final price.

    • Showing as 590p/p on their website, don’t know where he pulled 295 from

Edit: Just realised it’s 1180/4 which is how he got the price

      • Yeah sorry to be clear - this is the final price after discount divided by 4. Website per person price is per adult.

how can we book for people with three kids?

    • You can add 3 kids to the booking but it will cost extra (looks like a regular adult price).

    • Same boat!!

  • never mind, found a date

    • +4

Taking a first date on this trip with your two kids might be coming on a bit strong.

That was an adam sandler film, was it just go with it, or couples retreat or something?

Be aware that you can no longer climb Ayers Rock 'legally'….

They consider 11+ yr old as an adult

      😲

      That could get them arrested

    • They are considered adults when it comes to flights and gender change irreversible treatments and surgery. But they are considered children when it comes to watching M rated movies, alcohol, smoking, voting, etc.

        Don’t rile the resident leftys.

so I booked it, im a sucker for a good deal…. but now I'm having buyers remorse… what am I going to do there for 4 nights, only so much staring at a giant rock one can do?

    • -1

You can add staring at Aborigines as another thing to do.

holy shit, rental car is more expensive than flights & accommodation — haha wow, this is going to be a trip to remember

      • +1

i wouldn't bother with a rental car, the resort is tiny and just go on the tours, although the tours are quite a hit on the pocket too.

    • Lots of free activities:

Also apparently Kata Tjuta (the olgas) is a must for sunrise/sunset and the valley of the winds walk there is supposed to be really good.

    Love Ayers rock

  • NT holiday. lol

  • It’s gonna be soo hot during this time…

    • October is ok, last time we went only one day above 30. A bit lower and wetter than normal but you'll do most activities in dawn and dust anyway.

    • It's winter though?

  • All the default packages fly 4 but sleep 3. What do I do with my 4th kid. Can they sleep in the gym or kitchen once it closes?

  • Uluru has always been on the list! Looks like I was too slow 😭was this advertised by Jetstar at all???
