        @Pootie Tang: What dates? I've been looking for 8 months now…. almost daily. Checking multiple sites. Getting Etihad for 1600 return in July is pretty good. Cheapest I saw was 1900 via Qatar to Paris. during those dates.

  Don't forget to look at the details of the airlines and connections. Sometimes that cheap flight requires you to wait 12 or more hours at an airport. A friend did that recently and said she'd spend the extra $200 to avoid it.

I'm looking to fly to London in May, and Singapore Air's offer of ~$1650 from Adelaide is rather tempting. But it has a 9 hour overnight layover. Does the airline provide a hotel, or do I need to book it myself?

The next best option is Qatar Airlines for about $250 more, and it has a short layover.
