        I used this code logged into my EDU account last week, the account shares the same username. Maybe the code is only allowed to be used once per account rather than site.

      You are charged for the trade in value as soon as do the trade in. This gets refunded when you send them the traded in device. If you don’t send they charge you additional $60 device non-return fee.

          No. Only trade in value of the device plus $60 if you don’t send your device to them. You will keep all the bonuses.

        I recently traded in my iphone for a fold 6. The trade in value of the iPhone was $535. If I don't return it, they will just charge me an extra $60?

        Which means as long as I can sell the iPhone for more than $595, then I'm winning?

          I hope you havn't pulled the trigger just yet, i re-read the T&Cs last night and they've changed it this time compared to previously.
          If you have let us know how you went :).

          T&C now mentions along the line of not refunding your security deposit as you already have claimed equivalent discount on your store purchase. However that security deposit is your phones value, if you trade in for example a $15 valued phone you may only lose $15?

            @Frankiijayy: I'm ok with not getting the refund back and getting charged the extra $60. As long as I can sell the phone for over $600 then I'm ahead. Which I shouldn't have a problem with. The bonus was from Samsung providing a bonus trade in value which I've already used up.

    Thanks OP, this worked for me. Used the code on the Samsung Education Store and got $200 off. Traded in my Galaxy 5 watch for $105. All up, it came to $604.

      Same here. I used GALAXYAI + $50 trade-in code from the targeted email offer via pre-registering. Paid $527.90 after trading-in my GW6 LTE + small redemption of Samsung Points.

      FWIW when I spoke to the sales team on chat and I pushed them, he gave me one of those $50 codes (didn't stack though).

      Update: just got $14.77 cashback tracked via Shopback too. Always worth a try!!

    This is still a crazy price lol.

    I'd expect the full rrp for this to be $570. For it to be that price after all the discounts is just ridiculous for a watch that you have to charge daily.

          Samsung have refunded the purchase amount however the $1 for the trade in is still on my statement from Asurion.

          Hopefully they dont charge the $60 non return fee for the device
