As below, I'd say that's a prime example of differential pricing, but not in a good way.
I got annoyed a few months back when looking at their site, finding some good prices in the US, then finding they charged higher prices - PLUS postage - to send it to Australia.
I don't think it's Macy's but a company called Fiftyone who seems to be doing it. The price increases seem to happen at all the stores they provide services too.
Do you know how I can change the currency to show USD?
EDIT: Click on the "shipping to - Australia" button, which takes you to the international shipping site. Then click country = Australia, currency = US dollars
Keep in mind that the products at Macys are still differentially priced, if you're in the US you get cheaper products
Thanks.

Is this legal in the USA?
why not?
Thanks, saved me a little more.
Thanks.
Awesome deal.
I could go nuts on that site.
Great products, great value.
You can get prices slightly cheaper if you order in British pounds. Also the selection of brands available changes depending on where you are shipping - They won't let you ship Calvin Klein to Australia for example. :(
I ordered a CK shirt and it went through fine.
Was it full price or clearance? I tried to order two CK jackets, and got a
MSG saying they can't deliver to Aus. :(
Clearance, i believe.
Some of the Dysons seem pretty cheap!
I love how they increase the price when you select "Australia" as your destination. For example I looked at some Nike Comfort slides and the price for shopping as American was $31.95. Change it to Australia and the price went up to $39.95 I change of 25% in price before shipping is even considered.
nice spotting!
Another e.g Pyrex 12 pce Storage
$19.XX AUD
$15.XX USD
why cant i see the pictures of any items on their website? tried chrome and ie
does the extra 15% work on all items? sucks though that the prices change once you show that youre shipping to aust. Bloody annoying when seeing that. Looks like its not only Aussie retailers taking the mickey out of us sigh
you can always use forwarding companies.
I used USA shopping affair - http://www.usashoppingaffair.com.au/prices.html
The rates are on the website which is not always the case when using these sites. Nothing like a nasty surprise!
The major part of my order (an item from their Cyber Monday sale) has just been cancelled due to apparently running out of stock.
Pretty ordinary.
Code friend gives 25% off
Guys dont forget that ebates gives you 6% cashback at the moment. More info in this thread:

Whilst I'm annoyed they cancelled my big Cyber Monday purchase (still haven't refunded, either), I'm rapt that they send everything via DHL.
Had a piece of clothing ship Wednesday and it arrived this morning.
Pretty sweet.
Macy's is fantastic. A large mid to high end retailer with great prices (and great service, if you shop there in person). A prime example of the differential pricing we pay here compared to the US
