      I use a cheap tripod for DSLR for a cheap competing product of the 360 version. I'm sure Bosch one is better, but I found with my cheap one, the 4 degree limit of auto level very limited and the basic bubble level on my cheap DSLR tripod helps (which is ironic because I am using a cheap bubble level to ensure the device is mounted on a tripod level enough to do auto level).

      I understand why a lot of chippies still use spirit level. While it is fine to use these entry level laser level for basic DIY jobs, if you have lot of levelling to do for many places, tripod adjustments and level wastes too much time. The pro laser level gears do help for ceiling work though.

    These red laser ones are Bosch Quigo gen 1 I think.
    They now have Quigo gen 2 which I think has a green laser.

    Any tradies can comment on the green Bosch? Want to grab the 2 plane but wondering how long that thing will last.

      Yeah they are okay. On large sites it’s quite hard to see the line from a distance but overall good. Buy any cheap tripod for $5-$10 with a 1/4 thread (which is most of them have) for uneven grounds and correct height. The self levelling does the rest. Always make sure you have spare batteries and turn off when not in use. Lasts a few hours

    green line works better indoors and outdoors, if you use redline outdoors during the day, or bright room, you wont see the line
