    S23 fe

    • Edited cheers

    • Hasn’t Telstra had this deal on their site for a while ?

  • Why there is so many retailers clearing this S23 model..

    • Too much stock?

    • +4

S24fe might be around the corner.

    • +2

It's a midranger no one buys

  • +3

Pixel 8 pro for 1099 and pixel 8 for 849 is a great price too.
Although 9 series launches on 14th aug.

    • Good price, but no doubt you will be able to get a pixel 9 for around the same price with discounts on launch.

    • -1

Ok price for those who missed out on the Optus trick. Regardless Pixel 8 pro is over priced for its specs.

    Still love my S20 FE

    • +2

Same here, except shite battery life…still loving the sd card option..

      • +2

I've got S20 FE and battery still pretty good. Unless you need 5g speeds set to 4G only. Also set refresh from 120 to 90.. I've compared 120 to 90 and for my usage don't see any noticable difference (I don't game on it).
Love SD card but went overseas recently and no ESIM support sucks. Apparently hardware supports it but Samsung crippled it.
Now I've got to figure what to replace it with once security updates ends. Apparently S20 models (including FE) are on quarterly updates and I think those will end April/May 2025?

      • You must be using the Exynos version (4G). The snapdragon 5G version has great battery life

        • How to tell again? Then again it's been almost 5 years..i wouldn't blame Samsung for that

          • @Lancerx: When you turn it on does it says S20 FE or S20 FE 5G?
The phone came out in Sep 20, so it's less than 4 years old If you bought it at launch

            • @Rimas: Fe 5g

              • @Lancerx: Then it's the battery that's degraded. Get Samsung to replace it for you with a genuine one. It's a fairly cheap repair

    • Yeah، bought a second hand one because i needed one with SD card to backup my 23U

    • +2

      Same with my S10.

Battery is still good too, lasts a day no issues. I think it's because of the 85% charge limit you can set on Samsung's, I've kept that on.

  • +2

Me S21FE still going strong. Good phones.

    • +1

I hate mine.. slow and battery life is not good either

    • +1

What's the camera like on the FE phones?

      • It goes well.

      • It's fine but obviously not as good as the current flagship phones.

  • +7

Or buy from shopping express Trifecta (3 items $699 Shipped) and get 2 free items (Group B and C)

  • i ended up buying the poco x6 pro for my 2nd phone for gaming and to let the kids play when commuting.
should i return it and get this instead? is this better then the poco x6 pro?

  • +8

S23 earlier from jb hifi was a better deal

  • +1

I would purchased it already only if it has an SD Card slot.

  • Exynos Chip…no thanks

  • Price beat on officeworks guys

    • Have you confirmed they will PB this?

      • +1

        I have pbed them before

  • Don't you require a Telstra service in order to purchase outright?

Minimum cost is $699. If you already have a service with us, you can buy outright without adding a plan.

    • +1

Can buy at the store without a Telstra ID.

      • Thats correct. We can process all phones outright. Just be aware that we may ask for ID to reduce fraudulent transactions that have been happening with stolen cards.

        • -1

But you still need to be on a plan unfortunately and Telstra plans are pricey when you've been used to Boost 365 day plans

          • @freesteakknives: No you don't. You just need to have an id.

            • @wombat81: Thanks - That's odd because the terms say

"Minimum cost is $699. If you already have a service with us, you can buy outright without adding a plan"

The implication to me is that if you don't have a service then you need to add a plan. Can you please explain. Also office works is using that as a reason not to price match

              • +1

@freesteakknives: The explanation is that I have a Telstra id but no active services. If I sign in I'm able to purchase this outright.

If need be could you not activate a $2 Sim to then have an active service?

                • @wombat81: Thanks - ended up buying online as they had run out the colour that I wanted at the local store - I only have a telstra ID via boost and that seemed to work. No need to add a plan either. OW would not price beat because the deal said that you needed a telstra ID even though that's only required for an online purchase, not for Telstra in store.

        • So why mislead the public on your website? It literally says you need an active service to purchase outright. Even if this statement applies to online only, they need to make that very clear.

exynos FE is exy2200, would much rather have regular s23 instead, way less overheat issues etc.

  • Is this better than s22 ultra?

    • +1

No or subjective. Read the spec sheets and update timelines if you're deciding between them

    • No. This is a midrange phone. The S22 Ultra is a high end flagship phone.

    • No

  • Is this locked to Telstra?

    • +1

      not locked.

  • +1

Impulse Bought the s23 fe last night but having second thoughts after reading reviews can anyone confirm if it's a good phone/deal or not??

    • +1

      Nah it’s a toaster processor . I’d rather wait S24FE , S21FE better even no glass back.
