  These printers are amazing. Had my brother lazer for 5 years. Hasn't missed a beat. If you only print once in a while these beat every ink jet on the market

    Even reset chips for the recent Brother toner cartridges are really expensive.

    For my Fuji CM225 a few bucks bought a handful of chips for each colour which seems enough to last a lifetime (and every time I've had to change one there is still heaps of toner in the cartridge)

    Which can last you 5+ years if you casually print. Meanwhile, an inkjet cartridge costs close to the same, and lasts maybe a few months at best before drying out (or using it all up keeping it potent), even if it was half the price, you're losing out to the laser every day of the week. Even if you print a lot, the laser will come out ahead

    Yes. Brother DCP-L3560CDW for $371 from the good guys commercial. Absolutely brilliant. Only downside is no duplex scanning, but you can do it via the software so no major issue. Absolutely brilliant machine for the price.

    No its not the same model, they have Brother DCP-L2640DW for $196.
    It misses out the fax feature.

  This $200 price for multi function is tempting.
  Found the 3rd party toners is selling at $79… hopefully it get cheaper later before the starter toner runs out…
