Thanks for pointing it out. Updated the bargain.
Don't take my word as a certainty though lol, I think it is region A but I'm not certain. Tried to have a quick look online but couldn't find a definite answer. Maybe someone who owns the US set can reply?

yeah but Amazon often advises region A even when it isn't (or has multiple regions I mean)
Yup, my understanding is this set from the US is Region A locked. Not a bargain for those not realising it won't play on their Region B players.
Yes it is Region A locked according to blu-ray.com so a multi region blu-ray player is required.

Then again people buying blu-ray movies from Amazon US should already have a multi region BD player. Stupid if they don't.
I checked mine from UK is labeled Region B, so the one from US will be Region A.
Girlfriend just ordered it for me, AWESOME! BTW, there are plenty of multi-region blu-ray players out there these days, just type in the code for the region you want to watch and presto. There's no such thing as a region-free blu-ray player, just multi-region ones. They are just as cheap as regular players too, so win win. Can't wait for Bond in FULL HD!
Oh and bonus, there's an empty slot in the box set for skyfall, for when it too get's released.
$79 Soniq B100 multi region BD player so you can play these James Bond films. Just type 8250 on the remote control to get to the region change screen.

An even better deal is a copy of Skyfall redeemable as a mail-in coupon thrown in. I just hope my copy of Skyfall will have compatible graphics design on the disc.
US version seems to have more advantages than the UK version (e.g. isolated scores) so if you have a multi-region player it's the one to go for!
The Complete 22 Film Collection
"Never Say Never Again"
with Sean Connery is not included… :S
Never! :)
Neither is Casino Royale - the one with Peter Sellers.
Both Never Say Never Again and that god awful Casino Royale with David Niven are non-canon films
You're really not missing anything as Never Say Never Again was pretty ordinary too :)
Expired!
Still lists at $99.99 for me. Try again?
???- should be good all day Sat US time.
Cannot get it for $106 delivered
it is the golden box deal today, so it will run for a while,
BTW, I can order it @USD 105.97 just now, which I didnt proceed, maybe you shall have another try.
Be sure to change shipping to standard. It may not default that way.
What a bargain. Highest price on camelcamelcamel $699,999.52 Jan 10, 2012. That's 99.9857% off!
Average + $26,104.11
Sold out. Just ordered one from Amazon UK $124 delivered. Don't know why but it's less than listed price. In description they say only 2 discs region B, others region free.
Yep listing has "Please note: Due to high demand, the Gold Box Price for this item Bond 50: The Complete 22 Film Collection has sold out. However we have a great offer on The Forever Marilyn Blu-ray Collection which is available for $26.99 for today only. Offer applies only to items shipped and sold by Amazon."
what 2 are region ?
The uk price to Australia will remove VAT so it's less than what's listed.
JB currently has it for 223.99.
d@mn i missed it =(
Amazon UK price has dropped to GBP75 from GBP88.99 for those who missed out. Still works out to cost more than the US one though (when it was available).
Works out as ~$101 AUD
Wow, mine just arrived. Fantastic packaging - the discs come in 2 folders (1962-81 and 1982-2012) and they've even included a space for SkyFall. Well worth the investment for anyone still thinking of a Christmas present for a Bond Fan.
Pretty sure the US bond 50 set is locked to Region A? Probably important to note if it is indeed locked. Most people here probably don't have region free blu ray players.
