Had a Xiaomi Mi Robot in the past but one of my biggest pet peeves was having to empty it all the time so happy to pick this one up given it has the self emptying station.

Saw this review and it looked OK Review

Price is also decent compared to other brands (e.g. Roborock and Ecovacs) with a self emptying station.

Also picked up a Eufy 2C 4 pack with a Homebase unit for $583.96 Link
76 cents more expensive than the one through Super Cheap Auto back in May Link

Price History at C CamelCamelCamel.

  • Anyone own one of these? The wife wants a robovac but I have 0 idea around them.

    • This is eligible for change of mind returns in 30 days - mentioned under Sold By in right column. I haven't used this but overall Anker products are always on par or exceeds big brands. This could be a good starting point for you.

      • Amazon have gotten so big in Australia they stopped trying and now charge for change of mind returns, something to keep note.

        • I think that this change of mind return is by Anker, not Amazon, so I would assume it to be free of charge. Anker website also offers change of mind for 30days and when I saw it on Amazon listings, I assumed that its Anker's policy. I don't see such return policy with other sellers usually.

@ChipsChicky: no its all returns now, unless its clothes where it says free returns on the page. I got done with another purchase on prime day, i'm pretty annoyed this was quietly announced.

            • @bowtiehoon: oh okay, so you had to pay for Australia Post Postage and get the label yourself or they gave you the label and charge you accordingly?

      • Would you get the L50 above or the L60 from JB? I do have a $650 JB GC and can use the $30 Perks voucher to bring it down to $569

You need to compare the specs - the one in deal doesn't seem to have Mopping Function whras L60SES has mopping (as in your link). Evaluate if you need mopping.
It's better if you watch some videos on youtube and decide what you want.

If the only reason you have is that you have JB Cards - thn don't buy it. I won't spend the money just because i have the money.

          • @ChipsChicky: Appreciate the reply. The wife wants mopping so i guess the L60 is the one. I've had this GC for about a year and have never been able to find exactly what. We just moved into the perfect robovac house haha

Make sure you buy your 1st Robot from Amazon, not from Harvey Normal, Good Guys etc, if for some reason your wife didn't like it you can return it for free.

  • Appears it has an anti hair cutter in the base, quite unique! Vacuum wars said the L60 is their best budget vacuum. Looking online the only difference is the suction power.

You would want one with a mopping feature, which is very common, although this one does not have it. I would opt for another product with moping feature

    • I almost never use the mopping function on my viomi s9, even though I have a ton of floorboards and tiles. It's just a PITA to fill and clean and dry the unit.
