Amazing price for a truly ASMR pre-modded typing experience. Bought yesterday after much Youtube reviews and sound demos, arrived today and definitely an experience to be had. Made me even giggle as I type this. I chose the Ice Vein switch on White Black Colourway.

Even my curious little girl remarked "It's like popping mini bubble wrap!" (in a deeper thocc thocc sound) and then she was fighting over me testing it out.
For comparison, my previous keyboards were mainstream ASUS Claymore Cherry Blue switches, and Ducky Shine 7 Cherry Browns, both of them being very hollow sounding and almost annoying to the hear, especially the pitchy spacebar.

Oh I'm about to purchase another one as my other older daughter is screaming she so so "needs" this… never knew how much ASMR affects these younger generations too!

Note:
Some other colours does not have the Prime special and is at full cost of $131.99
Aliexpress currently at A$103 from Epomaker store but once will need to factor in 10% AU tax at checkout

hah yes! that's the exact one both colour and switch I bought.. and the exact YT video I listened to!

Was in some boat as you researching youtube videos yesterday and ended up ordering the Graywood V3 switches version.
I did notice that aliexpress has them for much cheaper around $60-80 ish but went with amazon for convenience

    • +1

Some of those Aliexpress sellers don't have the EPOMAKER name in the product details. Even though were at A$88-90ish with 10% at checkout its almost same.

Same I wanted Amazon lighting delivery speed and confidence.

I bought the Graywood v3 for my older daughter :)

  • Never used prime before..What's the ozbArgainers way around the 80$ prime membership. Reading it they charge a once off fee….so we can't join and unjoin after purchase for only one month's free etc?

    • +1

"Choose the membership that's best for you" then choose the $9.99/month option. Then cancel after your order arrives if you want.

      • Thanks all. I did go with the 30 day free trial

        • I've got four accounts and cycle through them for free Prime trials when required.

          • @sween64: Should get 12 accounts for all year round free prime

Grabbed one of these like 2-3 months ago, absolutely love the thing. Don't stop to think about it if you're wanting a cheapish mech kb, it makes all the right sounds, feels right, works, no issues, the software is pretty decent too.

  • It's been noted that the case for this is an utter pain in the behind to get open and you'll likely leave gashes in the plastic if you try.

That said, I don't believe this requires any real modding and sounds pretty good out of the box.

Shame about the software though, although that's kind of something that could slowly change over the next few years.

  • Also the ones that are for $131.99, there is a 20% discount code that brings it down to the same price

  • Found this (alternative) keeb deal - iLovbee B87 $63.99. Yes the brand name is cringy and it's not exactly the same layout as the Aula but the typing experience looks promising base on this vid by Studio SC - Unbelievable Value! The New Best $60 Keyboard?! | iLovbee B87 Review
