I recently bought 1 of each of the kits in the title for my two boys - been really good.

For 2 kids+, I recommend getting the bigger kit.
For 1 kid, the $30.80 smaller Explore kit is good to get started.

The tools are very kid safe, although the knife tool says age 5+, my 3 year old can pretty reliably make straight cuts now with it.

If you only want the smaller kit, its cheaper on amazon as it has free delivery.

If you want the bigger kit, it’s about same money via the official makedo website after the sign up 10% code. You'll almost be sure to get it quicker via Amazon though as the free post via makedo is via Australia post slow parcel and they dont do dispatch runs everyday. as Chinese pointed out, the Discover kit is slightly cheaper at Core electronics shipped

Good way to reuse all those Amazon shipping boxes.

I'm surprised you haven't found 3d printed versions of these tools

    • First thing I did after checking out this deal was check for 3D printed knock-offs. This deal is a great gift idea for kids though.

    • . The screws are actually quite well made. I’m not sure I could print more durable and nicely finished screws for much cheaper tbh..

      • Looks strong enough printed

    • Actually those tools look decent
Might give it a crack printing them in gold silk pla for lols

    • Wow that’s cheap, didn’t come across it when I bought my lot from makedo direct. The explore kit is still cheaper as free delivery.

      I’ll update op

Yea. We bought and figured they are the cheapest in AU.

      • Discover delivered is also cheaper. Yes?

        • If you're lucky enough to have 28d Price protection, buy from Amazon and claim from Core, then you don't have to pay the delivery fee

  • Wow I remember buying the initial version of this like 12 years ago. Still have it.
