I have a 1/2 acre bush block and I use the blade trimmer for weeds. It has no problems for this task.
One blade will need to be replaced every 2 to 3 periods of use. I buy the blades super cheap through eBay. I ensure I don't hit rocks nor thick woody plants. I don't use it as a lawn edger, lawn mower nor hard up against a brick wall.yep - the blades are fine if you aren't beating them against concrete or bricks
The Bosch blades (get on discount) are better at staying clicked on than the stock blades that come with the trimmer
EDIT: blower is light and decent for blowing leaves out of the garage, deck, path, etc - but not enough flow for to use as a air rake on the lawn
The trimmer bits on these wear down extremely fast.

I've got this trimmer set and use it to maintain a very small (2 sq. mtr) bit of lawn. For that size, it's easily able to handle the occasional trim, and I'm able to trim the grass & blow it with 1 battery charge. Haven't had to replace the blade often either.
Sounds like a job for scissors tbh
Hahaha honestly I'd probably spend less time with scissors than most would with a standard lawn…
Have bought both. Both are very basic, and doesn't the bare minimum. Spend a bit extra and get something that will last.
Is there any way to use line with the trimmer?
That trimmer is garbage
