Would recommend RAID6 or Z2, basically having more than 1 parity, on huge storage pools with recertified drives for additional redundancy (especially to prevent rebuild fails in rare cases), but I reckon prosumers who shuck drives should already know that…
anything not seagate to consider ?
I've had good experience with WD's vs seagate. Looking at something like the WD Red Pro 22TB. Not sure if that would be the drive inside this.
i mean probably maybe … it wouldnt be a seagate …. but its sold out and somone above my comment was suggesting Bare metal seagate drives and at that Seagate drives only …..
Has anyone has any experience with those guys at all? THey seem to have alot of drives and some 'look' new but 3yr warranty isnt half bad if it stacks up for some redundant storage. Just not sure about the drive warranty as its got to be sent via HK i assume

Damn, missed it. How long would the warranty be though on these? Send back via Amazon?
for those who got one, let me know, realised it ran out really quick
