Narwal Freo X Ultra Robot Vacuum & Mop $1599.99 ($400 off) Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

This seems like a decent deal for Narwal Freo X Ultra, it's one of the Day 1 Deal from the Costco Winter Deals. I have the Narwal T10 from a couple of years ago. This model is definitely a good upgrade from T10 as you don't need to swap around the vacuum brush and mop.

Some of the features for Narwal Freo below:

8200 pa industry No.1 suction power. Strong suction power extracts dirt from hard floors, carpets and rugs. Up to 99% of particles disappear from hard floors.

Zero Hair Tangling Aerodynamic Brush. Ideal for pet owners and certified by SGS and TUV to 0% tangle, with 99% of hair being removed-even on carpet.

Revolutionary Self-Empty 2.0. 7 Weeks of Dust Storage with self-contained tech compressed dirt to expand built-in storage. Heated dry for dust bin to keep dust bin or dust bag dry.

AI DirtSense Mopping. Sensors and algorithms accurately monitor the wastewater and target cleaning accordingly.

All in one Station. Auto Mop Wash, Auto Drying, Auto Detergent Dispensing, Auto Base Cleaning, Auto Dust Bag/Bin Drying.

Tri-Laser Obstacle Avoidance. A Tri-laser array monitors surroundings to avoid small and low-lying objects. Side-laser enables the robot to clean within millimeters of them.

Does anyone know what the return policy is for robo vacs?

    • +1

I bought the exact robot above to test and I returned it a month later - no problems and was refunded quickly.

The robot performs very well but kept getting stuck around our kitchen somehow.

      https://www.costco.com.au/member-care/refunds-and-return/wha… - costco 90 days.

      • Thanks. I was wondering if its more than 90 days for robo vac because its NOT listed in the 90d exceptions.

        EXCEPTIONS
Certain Electronic goods (purchased on or after [August 31st 2020])
For electronic goods, Costco Wholesale’s return policy for change of mind only applies for 90 days from the date the member receives the following goods: televisions, projectors, major household appliances (including refrigerators, freezers, rangehoods, cooktops, microwaves, dishwashers, washers and dryers), computers, touchscreen tablets, smart watches, cameras, aerial cameras (including drones) security cameras, camcorders, MP3 players, cellular phones and portable air conditioners.

I'm asking because i've got a roborock s7 maxV and i feel the rotating mop performs better than my vibrating one, so looking to return the s7. Im really not happy with my s7's mopping.

        • I tried to return my s7 after 90 days for similar reasons and Costco wouldn't honour it. I pointed out that the return policy did not explicitly state vacuums, but they said it was an electronic good.

          • @lookin4guuddeals: Ah that sucks! Thats pretty poor form isnt it?

Why wouldnt they just say ALL electronics then?

  • Can somebody compare this to
"Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Cleaner $2660.45" and
"Dreame L20 Ultra Robot Vac and Mop $1797"?

I am not sure which one is good for me.

    • I recently purchased a Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra from Amazon for $2549.15. So far, I am very satisfied with its performance. The washing and drying of the pads and the self-emptying feature are particularly impressive. At home, I also have two other robotic devices: a Narwal for mopping and an Ecovacs for cleaning. The S8 MaxV Ultra stands out by being able to clean and mop in one go, which is very efficient. Additionally, I find the Roborock app to be much more user-friendly and functional compared to the apps for the other two devices.

This does not have a self emptying dust bin. Absolutely crazy for a flag ship model. IT has a disposable 1L dust bag inside the robot, but I bet the suction drops off once it's half full. All the other major brands empty the robot's dust bin into the base station after each cycle.
