It's hard to compare sharks and bisons

I prefer Dison. Belgium food and sweets are top notch. Can't eat this vacuum

Actually Shark vacs rate very well

$246 for everyday extra rewards members.

    • how?

Use code XJUL2024. There is a glitch so you can use it without everyday extra membership. Next month use XAUG2024 and so on.

        • Thanks mate worked perfectly

I have been playing with one of these, different brand but same idea.
They have their uses, but the airflow is tiny compared to a mains-powered vacuum cleaner.
It seems like an awful lot of money for a glorified dust-buster.

How much it sucks varies a lot depending on the brand ;)

So you’ve never used one of these. Got it.

      • OK, Dyson. It's a mile ahead of the old Dustbuster, but I think less than 100W, cannot compare to a 1500W corded vacuum.
Maybe the problem was my expectations being too high, based on the price tag.

  • The Original price close to dyson.

  • Compared to Dyson V8 or V10?

  • it is surprisingly good, I bought one during EOFY sale for $277
    good reviews from other retailers.

    • How is the current runtime in Standard mode for you?

  • Does this charge on the dock or do you need to plug in the charger?
Does it even come with a dock?

    • no dock, you take the battery off and charge it. Easy to do and works well

      • naww man that's so bad

  • dunno anything about Shark, and I do have a Dyson V8 for a year now - thoroughly love it - sale price gets down to $392. Anyhow all I came hear to say is the V8 on high speed runs for 7 mins which is heaps of time - i can run the whole house in 3-4 mins - running time i want to say should not be the top criteria for purchase

Anyone know what happened to the $100~ Dreame - Dyson knock off's? There used to be heaps of sales.

    • +1

I have a dreame and after 6 months it stopped sucking as hard and the battery lasts wayyy less, it also gets blocked very easily.. I think I bought it for more than this price too.

      • Thanks, mine was going for about 18 months before mine was stolen (house was robbed) and wondered why they've seemed to have disappeared. ~300 for a cleaning utensil is alot for me when I used to use the $30 corded woolies specials, haha.

  • This is the IZ102, Choice rates it 76% noting it performs better on hard floors. Excellent at picking up over hair and a removable battery.

I was after one of these at the beginning of the year and couldn't find one in stock on sale so went for a Bosch. If you've got hard floors or want something to quick vac pet hair or just do a tidy up this is a great price

can these be adapted so you can run it with power tool batteries like Ozito?

  • $350 at Jb Hi-Fi for possible price match - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/shark-iz102-cordless-vacu…

  • My wife bought one a month ago and i was sceptical however its actually really good. Suction is great, the tangle free head actually works!! The battery run time is enough to vacuum our whole house, approx 30-40 mins on the high power mode. Totally worth it, especially for the price. Only downside is there is no dock or way for it to stand so you have to lean it against the wall. I take the battery off and then charge it with my other charges.

Bought in June from Goodguys for $267

  • Looks like it's OOS

    • JBHiFi price matches

      • I tried, no dice.

  • Can anyone comment how this is on carpet? My Viomi A9 is garbage on getting anything out of carpet, especially pet hair.
