    yes BT is totally legal. the owner of the copyright (in this case Mr Tim Ferris) has the right to distribute stuff he owns by any means he sees as best (in this case by BT). its only the copywrong MAFIAA ( http://mafiaa.org/ ) who would like everyone to believe that BT is bad because they cant take there cut out of everything and use there standover tactics etc.

    BT gives the artists/IP owners far more power over there own work than the established "recording industry", and often make far more money out of it as well :)

      and before you neg, at least take the time to be informed. from the blog on the BT site. this is the guy who owns the book

  I don't think it's the whole book. From the torrent link:

  So you get a small part of the book, get some videos and photos, and hopefully at the end that will lead you to buy this book. So maybe it's not really a bargain/freebie, but more of a teaser.

  C'mon - Not "Free Book" that is misleading. It's a part of the book. Not a bargain…as pointed out, you can read the same online. I went through the trouble of installing the uTorrent plugin etc…only to see it's a part of the book…NEG almost, please change the title.
