  • Code not working on the decaf blend?

    • Stand by BigPeeper - I will take a look - cheers Dan

      • Thanks Dan! ;)

        • Apologies - all sorted now!

  • Good coffee!

What’s a nice blend to complement Enterprise and Twilight? New to espresso so no preference yet and wanting to try new things.

    • Thunderchild and Centaur

    • Hey jwow - thanks so much for the feedback.
As kloner has said those 2 darker ones are a good change from the Enterprise/Twilight.
You could also try the Stargazer which sits in between.

I hope that helps and thanks again.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Very pleased with the Centaur Blend. Order #15 placed!

    • That's great to hear kloner - thanks so much for sharing.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Currently, on Sumatra, Mrs says it's bitter, haha - any alternatives?
Given its light roasted, should I be choosing Light Road + Light Body?

    • Hey there b0nd - I would love to help with the Sumatra - if you're keen, please shoot me an email [email protected] and we can have a look at dialling it in a bit better for you. That would be a good step before recommending something else I think. keen to help.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Mailed, cheers

  • Which is the best blend for milk-based coffees? I've heard the darker the better if that is true?

I use a Breville Oracle if that helps.

    • Hey there callumkhang - I recommend the Enterprise Blend as a great place to start. We used to run this in our first coffee van and it was super well received for both milk and black coffees. The darker roasts will normally cut through milk a little better but then of course they have different flavour profiles so it depends on what you like :)

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers

  • Upvote for political neutrality.

    • Thank you Stevesie76 :)

  • Thanks Dan! Perfect timing so ordered 2 kilos :)

    • Great to hear listenam - thanks so much!

  • Have the Enterprise for our office and it's a hit. Would you be able to recommend something that's good for milk coffee but a bit stronger (but not bitter)?

    Thanks!

    • Hey there koflok - thats great to hear - thanks so much for sharing.
Yes! I would go for the Stargazer Blend as the next one up.

I hope that helps and keen to hear how it goes for you.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks will give it a try. Thanks!

  • Any recommendations for the occasional milk drink and daily v60? Medium to dark preferably. Cheers

    • Hey badmutha - I would go for the Stargazer Blend to suit you.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hey Dan!

Just wondering if you guys do delayed shipping at all? I have maybe a weeks supply left of my last Sumatra blend bag but don't want to miss out on this deal

    Cheers

    • Hey greenMario11 - thanks heaps for asking. We are all setup to roast and post asap so no delayed shipping options. We do have fairly regular sales so hopefully we can get the timing right for you when you are ready.

      Cheers

  • Grabbed 2x 1kg bags of decaf! Cheers rep.

    • Thanks so much goose25!!

  • I've been using airjo for years. We use enterprise. The last two batches have been terrible (52426 4jun and 72628 1jul). They have a distinct mettalic or moldy type finish. I've basically made a couple cups and had to chuck the rest. The 4th Jun is much worse than the 1jul but the bad taste is still there.

I bought the 1st July thinking the 4th June was just a bad batch. But the 1jul was just as bad. Other reformotory labs and St Ali beans taste fine.

Have you guys changed the blend? There was a distinct change about 3 years ago iirc but it was still OK, this time around I've had to stop my subscription.

Edit: ecm synchronika, shimmed baratza sette 270 (6H setting) , 20g dose, 40g extract in 25-30s. Puck prep, grind and temp all same as they have been (declumped, distributed and spring tamped).

I tried playing with a hotter extraction (usually at 93-94) but there's been no positive differences to any of my changes.

The extraction looks great with crema and syrupy consistency. It just tastes bad. Usually making 4-6 milk based drinks per day

    • Hey there butter - sorry to hear you have had a negative run there. Certainly no changes in blend at our end and we are regularly cupping/tasting for consistency. If you can shoot me an email [email protected] with your order numbers of those 2 orders I can look into it further and try and help. Keen to resolve it for you.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks Dan, will do.

  • Just ordered 2 kgs… Love it thanks Dan,

    • Great stuff Wozza32 - really appreciate it!

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hey Dan, what do you suggest for a smooth delicious long black (maybe give me top 1 and 2) - I brew it in a plunger by the way.

    • Hey there Saffrontea - I would recommend the Enterprise or the Sumatra for you :)
Super keen to hear what you choose and how it goes for you in the plunger.

      Cheers
      Dan

Good deal, 2 kg for $63. The tasteless, stale supermarket beans only cost a bit less than that.

  • Do you guys do delayed shipping. As in order now but deliver like a month later?

I am a single coffee drinker household so it takes me a while to finish off my existing beans.

    • +1

What I do is have an active subscription going. It's cheaper this way and it allows me to just login and change the next order date.

When I'm getting close to finishing my current bag (as in, last empty into the hopper), I just login and initiate a "order now".

The most amazing thing about airjo is

      Order today
      Roast today
      Delivery tm

Its truly the best I've experienced.

  • What's the taste like vs Vittoria coffee beans from Woolies?

  • @AIRJO CoffeeRoasters Dan, when is the next deal? - ill be out of coffee by the weekend - don't want to go Aldi and grab a bag for Lazzio
