@cheapskatehaggler Hi. I'm quite sure you're referring to the Boost promo we ran on Feb 27 as it's the only telco we've had to decline multiple cashbacks. If so, the reason is stated in my comment here re Telstra enforcing the requirement to activate within 30 days. If I have the correct promo, why is TCB to blame and why are they a 'shit' company as the requirement is clearly stated in the terms? Happy to stand corrected though.

Two sides to every story re being left out of pocket. I'm willing to bet he's referring to Boost and he didn't activate the SIMs, but happy to stand corrected if he responds. Correct. That's how most data only SIMs work. A mobile service with no call + text inclusions, data only, but can still receive incoming calls + texts.
Please be mindful that here is a Promo code of “JL” is applied when checking out. According to the term, this will void the cash back. It is dodgy form the service provider. I would prefer Boost Mobile if they still have the discount
