[Pre Order] Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo with ACE $569.50 ($556.10 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Anycubic via eBay

TJULY15TJULY17

More 3D printer deals, this time from Anycubic's brand new printer with multicolour capabilities.

It's a pre-sale but I have confirmed they have stock arriving in AU warehouse already. A few Aus customers have already received theirs from direct orders. Also comes with 4kg of filament. Their website still has it at the pre-sale price of $449 USD

You can say it's a Bambu A1 copy in terms of the printer, but their 'ACE' system is more like the full size AMS and also acts as a filament dryer. It will also be able to use 2x ACE units for 8 colour printing.

There's still some work for Anycubic to do on the software side, but they have made it open source and have released Orca presets

  • auto z-offset/bed level
  • input shaping & vibration compensation
  • 250x250x260mm
  • max 600mm/s
  • hardened nozzle & extruder gear

  • eww! v wheel motions system - at least the A1 is linear rail

    • +1

These are at least steel wheels on metal guide rods.
Not sure how performance is but they should be lower maintenance than plastic wheels

  • The price of this and dryer attracted me but still bought an a1 as my other Bambu has been solid

makes sense if you already own a Bambu to stay within the ecosystem.

Competition is heating up though, and it looks like the 2nd anniversary sale pricing is a permanent price reduction like they did with the A1 Mini.

  • I got one, it works very well out of the box, obviously early days but the orca profile on thingi works fine, just reduce the purge amount i think it's too much by default.

I don't have a bambu but everyone with one here to tell us, congrats to you.

    • At $200 less than an A1 AMS combo it's worth a look. Bambu has their issues too but they did take 3d printing to a new level and made all the other companies wake up.

      Did you buy direct?

      • $200 less after Bambu discounted further *. Still too much for me, its mostly novelty I have a cheap enclosed corexy I mostly use.

Yes I pre-ordered ages ago with a code, this deal is better again.
