Till whdn can you can activate this

    • I bought one last year and staff told me to active within a year. This information i remember you can find on the actual sim card package. Not on the hanging cover. Please double check with staff before purchasing

For further price reduction, use the 10% off a monthly Woolworths shop.

    • How do you get this?

      • +1

Everyday extras or joining their mobile/insurance.

        • So gotta pay for other products to get extra 10%… No point in paying for Woolies mobile just to get this.

          • +1

@ballistykx: $7 for Everyday extra, so you're essentially saving around $10.90 if you went that option plus you get whatever extra's that subscription gives?
(That's if i got my math right)

  • hi guys, Is there a good website to see 'coverage/availability' in suburbs?

      • +1

Cashback for amaysim hasn't been an issue with CR, my cashbacks are approved within days of shipping (even before I've activated the sim)

      • You dont need to wait few months, my cashback for those 28 day sims were approved within a week too

        • +5

no need to delete your comment despite being negged - $175 direct(amaysim.com.au) plus $50 cashback is worth knowing about imo :)

          • +2

@tonester: Apparently I was wrong and it’s a different SIM
The one offered from Woolies has international calls included while amaysim direct doesn’t include this

  • the only difference i see is, this one got international calls.

When is amaysim going to include 5g on those 12m plan

    • Agree. That'll be the day I move from Boost given Optus have better 5G speed (not coverage).

  • Is this the cheapest 12m plan around at present?

      • +1

note that that's with vodafone - this is optus network :)

        • +2

True, but I was just answering the question as put 😀

Cheapest would be 12 cashback plans deals each month - yes some here do that,

But the question was for a 12m plan

          • +1

@RockyRaccoon: yes, i know - in case network mattered, just wanted to possibly save people from checking :)

    • +1

Depends if you need international calls or not. But if with international calls i would still go with boost.

    • I'm looking for a sim to use with a dashcam LTE module. In the past I've found it only needs about 50G/year. A 12 month sim saves the hassle of changing the sim every few weeks. From my research it seems that sims that allow data plus calls are cheaper than data only sims.

    Optus no thank you

    • +1

Optus is actually better than Telstra where I live so I guess it depends on your location.

  • Unlimited talk & text in Australia and to 28 countries

Can someone tell me which 28 Countries are included?

    • +1

      Click on 28 Countries(amaysim.com.au).

I'm on mobile or else I would've copy pasted.

  • also available as esim ?

    • Yes but need to convert when activating after purchase of physical sim.

  • +1

FYI, this does not include access to the Optus 5G network.

  • how long have you got to activate and use , ie the longest time

  • Does anyone know what they mean by "new customer only", as in can't renew an existing plan or have to have a whole new login/account?

I already have amaysim with one kids phone, but another kids phone has just expired on Coles, so looking at churning that number to this … would that work?
