Is the hinge mechanism durable enough?

The hinge mechanism isn't all that bad. I feel it locks in strongly and snaps together well. My only issue with it would be that the ribbons are showing because of it. But oh well.
Other issues I've come across are more nit picking. The keys feel like they will fall off at some stage, (I type relatively fast, and sometimes my fingers get stuck in-between the keys :|). No track pad isn't an issue as I don't mind the nipple (in fact I like the nipple over the track pad for the most part).
Overall its a very competent machine. I've used it essencially as my main computer since it was released, so if you want to ask more detailed questions I can probably answer them :)

Does this include laptops? I've had a VAIO for nearly 2 years now… best laptop I've owned / used, and I've gone through a few in my time (work and personal). Will be getting another.
