    Considering using the europe data esims on a trip to Spain and Portugal.
    Can anyone comment on:
    - Can the data e-sim still receive phone calls? or receive SMS? (understand they can't make calls, but useful to know if they can receive).
    - What is coverage with this provider in main cities in Spain/Portugal as well as smaller cities/towns in Spain/Portugal? Not going anywhere remote, but if they dont work in smaller towns such as Ronda in Spain, this may be an issue for me.

      If you have dual SIM phones you can receive phone call (roaming charges may apply) and SMS (receiving sms should be free).

    Just sharing - don't trust their so called "money back guarantee" because two of my sim cards stopped working in Japan before the expiry date and TravelKon have refused to refund my money even though I spent a whole day troubleshooting the sim cards.

      We apologies for the poor experience you may have.

      We did offered an eSIM replacement which was refused.

      Just for some context, the SIM worked perfectly until the last day, since you mentioned you were leaving the next morning and did not need an eSIM replacement, we respected your decision.

      Even though it is very likely the SIM card data allowance has been used up which is probably why the SIM stopped working. Since it was a local SIM which, we cannot check the data usage on our end, but the SIM will only stop if the data usage has been exhausted.

      The SIM was working perfectly until the last day and most likely all its data has been used. So it would not be fair to refund the order especially when we offered eSIM replacement (the Japan Unlimited Max eSIM).

        If we are sharing context, let's not leave things out. Both sims coincidentally stopped working on the second last day. We had to troubleshoot it for the whole day with back-to- back screenshots of mobile network settings using airport wifi and my iPhone clearly showed only 7gb of 15gb data used. The only other way to check how much data was used on the sim card was with the Softbank website which required us to have a working sim card (wifi showed an error page), which we did not have! An esim replacement was offered, however, also required us to have data to download a separate app and then ultimately did not work. Another esim was offered at night time when I followed up but we were on a morning flight the next day so was declined because nothing had worked at this point and it was no longer needed.         You were provided screenshots of iPhone data usage of two separate sims where the data usage was not exceeded.

        Instead of exploring the possibility that the sim could have expired before the advertised date of 30 June 2024, you insisted it could only have been because of excess data usage.

        Then you proceeded to offer an Eskimo 1gb free travel eSIM using promo code “MONSTERDEALZ” out of your “goodwill.” Please don’t offer another company’s free trial as your own solution.

          We were never informed that the temporary eSIM does not work until at night time.

          Given that the operator did not respond in time and the Eskimo eSIM was not functioning, we offered our Japan Unlimited Max eSIM for you to use, which was declined. Please note this was our solution.

          We also want to note that iPhone screenshots may not always be 100% accurate.
