With Carl Zeiss lens, PureView technology with Optical Image Stablisation, PureMotion HD+ and a 4.5’’ display plus. Best of all, it comes with wireless charging and a whole range of Qi-compatible chargers to choose from. This is Nokia Lumia 920.
Due to demand initial shipment is now exhausted, next shipment ETA is due first week in December.

good: 4.5 inches (~332 ppi pixel density) screen, super sensitive screen, 3g/next g/4g network, NFS, wireless charging, one of the best smartphone camera (if not the best), one of the toughest smartphone (scratch or drop)
bad: weigh (~iphone 4s+case?), no SD card slot, less app (no issue if all personal must have apps available).
It looks pretty good to me at least.

This phone actually comes out on top. It's a moot point though, you're comparing completely different segments of the market.
Galaxy S III does not run Windows Phone.
Whether Android or Windows Phone is better — that would be a discussion for the forums. As a deal, it's probably one of the cheaper Lumia 920 around.

There will be a short stock delay, we have been told 2 days before stock will arrive in store to which it will be shipped out. If there is a delay we will let you know and will have the option of cancelling the order at no additional charge.

We only have a store in Brisbane, once stock is sent out you should receive this within 1 to 2 working days. We have been told that we should receive stock in store in 2 working days.
Not really a deal - Telstra will be selling the phone for $696 outright from their stores!

I got my Galaxy S3 on a contract with Telstra, the guy told me it was branded but unlocked.
So I would hope the same would apply to this, especially if purchased outright.
I guess check with them when they have stock.

Consider any lighter phone you may use, plus a case, will roughly equal the same weight.
And you don't need a case with the L920 since it is extremely sturdy.
And, an extra 40g of weight should hardly make it difficult for any normal strength person to use.
Disagree, owned a N9 and now a Lumia 800. While both are really strong phones I still managed to dent and scratch the N9 by dropping it (with a case) and just got my first screen scratch on my Lumia. The phones look really good without cases but I couldn't bring myself not to use one.
I think you need to try lifting one up before making this comment. I bought from Clove UK and it arrived Friday last week and absolutely no one has complained that it is unbearably heavy. In fact, it's not much different to an iPhone 4 - and - only heavier when compared to a HTC 8X or Galaxy III in the office. One could argue that the weight is proportional to the size of the device.

haha, I don't really like windows phone, but this is probably one of the few best camera phones around. Will put samsung and iphone to shame with its cam quality.

How much stock of each colour are you expecting in the first batch? Would there be any indication of expected stock levels when ordering? I don't want to order, only to then find out later that I missed the first batch.

They don't have them in stock yet… Apparently the shipments get in tomorrow (only limited stock too), such a shame as I though they'd be out to customers early this week.
