coming up as $26 … ahh have to select size 6-12 for the $17.95 deal

    • You’re probably looking at size 12-15. As I wrote in the description it’s 6-12 only. Edit just saw you that you added the last part

      • +1

dang, can't ever find a deal for size 16

        • +6

          Username checks out

        • +1

You can find size 16 socks? Where? My son has enormous feet and the only socks I've found to fit are expensive.

          • +1

@banana365: Same here. I wear size 15 and just end up stretching the hell out of little people size 12 socks …

            • @LoftyAu: That's the problem I have - my socks stretched by his size 19s.

  • What is 6-12? Medium? Large?

    Can’t see the cheaper price

    • 6-12 is considered large in 3rd picture. To get this price select size 6-12 in “size name”

    • These run pretty large. I've got 11 US feet, and originally got the 12-15. Even after dryer shrinkage, they were massive. 6-12 was the right size for me.

How do these fair to 100% cotton? Super sweaty?

    • +7

Not at all. I've worn them with work boots and office boots and not had any issues with sweat. That's living in Darwin too.

      • Awesome, thanks

      • ♥️ Darwin - from Melbourne 😐

      • +8

Wow these socks win the Darwin award

      • Can confirm

    • +3

No. They're great.I use them in work boots for mowing and they don't slip around in the boots and wick sweat well.

  • +2

Awesome, bought 6 in the last deal and they are very comfortable and warm for the Melbourne winter. Got another 6

  • 👍

  • 6 pairs (12 individuals) ? or just 3 pairs as per picture ?

  • Been trying to improve my fitness levels and been going for walks and what could only be described as baby giraffe-esque jogs, anyone that have these would feet stay relatively dry from shoes getting a little wet during slight rain/dewwy grass?

    • +2

Cotton will not keep your feet dry. It's known to absorb moisture. Wool/Merino socks are the way to go

      • Thanks mate, appreciate the info :)

    • +1

Might be worth wearing goretex shoes in that environment to keep your feet bone dry.

    Cotton blend… ew.

  • These are not full cushions like the previous deal. I prefer thinner socks for the office. Despite being cotton blended, I haven't had any trouble with moisture with the full cushion one. However, these are 20% more cotton

    • +1

if you want cushioning, you are probably better off getting better insoles instead of socks.

    • I like the full bottom cushion ones too they wear out less with holes

  • These are really good. Ordered another set.

  • anyone know if these will prevent a little water seeping from out to in?

  • $27.78 now

    • Make sure you select size 6-12. Worked just then for me 51% claimed.

    • Still showing as $17.95 with 51% claimed. Make sure you’re selecting the black colour in size 6-12

  • +1

    Got some, thank you :).

cotton socks will always get wet and sweaty.

just buy merino wool socks, will dry and no smell.

will cost you a bundle though, only ones i found were bruce goose socks as they had 70+ % merino wool vs the amazon merino wool ones that were 40%.

    • +1

Smartwool socks are amazing, especially if you can get them on special. I got a whole bunch before a big hike in Tassie a few years ago at about 17 bucks a pair and still going strong with regular use.

    • +1

I went in the merino wool worm hole last night and for socks the best blend starts at 50% merino wool, the rest being a mix of synthetic materials, with maybe abit of cotton. Think polyester to make them sturdier, spandex for high elasticity, so on and so forth. High wool count is best for shirts, jumpers, etc etc.

    • What are the extreme holeproof explorers made of? And the expensive Katmandu ones?

I've actually got guilt about how long I've owned mine for. Worn 5 days a week (many pairs) in construction boots for more than 13yrs. Still 95% like the dayi bought them, and no issues with sweat, smell or anything

I have these and find they fade and get this rough texture pretty quick. Maybe it's my machine settings though. Also I would prefer thinner socks for the office.

That said, I'm going to just buy again so all my socks are the same haha (love having all the same so I never have to pair them up). I will cold wash only and use fabric softener this time, see if that helps their longevity.

    • +1

Must be your machine. These have been my goto for the last three or four years. The ones I've managed to hide from my son have lasted very well with only minor fading in a few I left drying in the sun for days.

  • Bought it. Thank you.

  • thanks OP

  • Thanks heaps OP! My son works in a flower nursery and does a lot of watering. These are perfect.

  • The 6-12 should be spelling. I think they refer to the shoe sizes, 5-9, 9-12, 12-15, and 15-17.

  • I have this plus a $40 item in my cart, but need another $1.50 for free delivery. Any tips in items shipping from the US for under $2?

  • +1

I don't have amazon prime, does not look like I qualify for free delivery even though my cart is more than $59.

  • Showing as 33.99 for me
    Black, 6-12, 6 pairs
