  • Curious if these work in the same way as the "hockey socks" to keep the moisture away, they seem cheaper

Looking to buy but how is size 6-12 classified as Large??

I'm size 8 US but that's not large.

    • +5

      I'm size 8 US

You know what they say about people with small feet…………..

      • Size 8 is small?

        • +13

          JV likes them big

        • -4

          Yeah it's borderline feminine

        • -3

for women might be normal size

    • +1

I am thinking same. To buy this size or wait for 5-9 to go on special.

  • +1

would want 100% cotton, no matter what the marketing says any polyester blend is not going to be as moisture proof as cotton

    • +20

      Bless your cotton socks

      • Bless your 55% Cotton, 43% Polyester, 2% Spandex socks

    • +4

I had 100% cotton socks and they would be wet at the end of the day. Switched to a wool blended with cotton and completely dry. Not sure how the polyester would compare though.

    • +4

Nah, Merino wool is where it's at.

      • +8

I'll wait for the $16.99 for 6 pairs of merino socks then…………………………………..

      • +1

        Bamboo ftw

        • No such thing

        • +1

I have Step One undies and bamboo boot socks, and yeah they are comfy but holy hell do they take forever to dry.

    • +7

I'm not sure about the moisture-proof property of cotton, but I'm pretty sure that cotton is an “anti-moisture-wicking” fabric; once it wets, it stays wet all day. Hence, activewear usually is not made of cotton. If moisture is the worry, then I'd stay away from cotton. Merino is arguably the best, but it is also expensive. Synthetic is more affordable and widely used.

    • +2

I use to love cotton, but it retains lots of moisture from your sweat..and it won't dry easily

  • Are these siper thick? Looks like its for work boots

  • +1

    Any good for work boots

  • +1

    These fine for office wear?

    • I ordered and want to know aswell

  • +6

They are thicker than your average office sock, but are still fine for office shoes.

I've got a few pairs and have been wearing them for a couple of years with no issue at all, including occasionally with work boots, in a tropical climate.

  • +1

got some of these before, if you're size 12 - go for extra large rather than large

  • +1

    So OK for a U.S.size 9? (AU/UK 8)
    Thanks in advance…

I had bough i guess the "1.0" version of these last year (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B004QF0TFQ) , within 6 months they are constantly shedding and had holes. usage being wear 1 day and wash on the weekend.
hopefully they actually improved with "3.0 "

Read the Dickies Men's Dri-tech Moisture Control Crew Socks Multipack have sold 168,371 pairs and yes they are double the price at $36.

While reading various comments on various socks based on an Australian review: his comment about the heal lock and am having second thoughts, despite the cheap price:

“ Good socks but don’t fit well
Reviewed in Australia on 11 March 2022
Colour Name: 3.0 Full Cushion White (6 Pairs)Size Name: 6-12
The socks are good and comfortable but they are too long in the foot for a size 7-8. It may be better if they made socks to fit sizes 6-9; 9-12 and then 13-15. Having only 2 sizes (6-12 and 12-15) made the socks too big for those whith size 6-9. There are too much material in the foot. the material crumples up on the toes and the arch of the foot.”

That’s an Australian Review. The Heel Lock is only good for people with BIG FEET.

I usually get a 9.5 US shoe 4E - the 2E nearly always splits at the toe upper and sole and I never get good life of the them. But the 2E is a must.

One guy tried to sell me size 10 Shoe and my feet slipped around in them.

Every pair of 100% cotton socks I’ve bought have worn away at the metatarsal section of my foot. The pad of your foot immediately under your toes. It’s the top section of your Plantar Fascia probably because when you walk this this the area that is taking the most weight from your body.

I find synthetic socks make my feet smell worse, but I agree the 100% cotton do wear out much quicker, the socks essentially rot so large clumps if cotton come off your foot after taking your socks of and yes, they were typically moist.

Since I have Plantar Fasciitis, I have heel pain - I was only diagnosed in late January. My regular Podiatrist has made some orthotics which has helped, but I have to wear socks and shoes from the moment I get up until I go to bed.

Feet are bloody complicated and I’ve learned more than I ever wanted to know, I just want working feet, but without potentially better shoes Hoka (there are a few models podiatrists recommend but the Gaviota is the most popular, it’s never on special and is $280.

    Anyone else care to comment.

I’d rather spend $36 on the previous one that sold 168,000 pairs with no heel lock as that’s still an excellent price for a six pack of GOOD socks. Basing of the review, I like my heel to fit.

Look at the online guide of their different fits and see which ones sold the most. Sales is a fact, thought anything can be made up, reviews can say anything esp AMZN, who been getting heaps of fake reviews despite their “Zero tolerance for fake reviews”

So I hope everyone’s heal fits, I’d love to try these and see if my 9.5 US foot fits, but this guy seems pretty sure the sole is too long, and says the he’ll lock is only for people who have a size 11-12.

I hate buying clothes online. It’s such a risk.

  • I see socks. I order socks.

  • They seem to be out of the black OP you may want to update to expired.

  • Well that's annoying.

    Just noticed my order is:

    Undeliverable
Unfortunately, a problem occurred with your shipment and we no longer expect it to be delivered. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you have not received your refund within 14 days, please contact us.

And looks like that was from April 5th. I guess what gets shipped from Vegas stays in Vegas. :/

    • Same thing happened to me. Asked them to resend, they stated to reorder but the price is higher now. :( Still waiting for refund as well.
