Wow 1771 kWh in consumption.
That is some hefty consumption.
But you're consuming 98 inches of goodness!
@jace88 - True, I am also not sure how much power a 75β uses as a comparison.
But with this, a gaming console and Soundbar you could easily push 1,000 kWh consumption.
On the other hand, itβs nice to see prices for this screen size come down in price.
Sounds too much to me.
Yeah that is a lot, and a lot more than the 98" C855, for example, which is around half that.
Over the life of the TV, this could be thousands of dollars.
Appliances online has an energy cost calculator if you scroll down
Thats high consumption number is on max brightness on a pure white screen. In practice its a lot less due to many backlight LEDs being turned off due to dark scene/object.
Got this TV a few months ago for the same price (Retravision price match plus RAC discount). Excellent display, and great features / bang for buck. Be sure your TV cabinet can take the weight and width of this bad boy!
This or 85 inch C855?
Pic quality vs size is always up to individual preference. Personally if I have the space, I'd go for size over pic quality. You only notice the quality difference if you compare it side by side, but you'll always notice that extra size.
I have heard others say that a great larger screen trumps an excellent smaller screen.
I can just fit a 98" wall mount in the living area.
Never mind. OOS
I got this last week from JB hifi by doing price match with Appliance Online for $3282 then apply 15% JB perks discount, and paying with gift card bought from Woolies. JB was also doing free delivery and wall mount installation. Ended up paying around ~$2500. Super happy with the purchase.
How'd you get perks to stack? We tried and the perks discount couldn't be used with price matching policy.
Wow, now that's a bargain!
Got crazy deal with 98" c745 at jbhifi a month back when bundle with sound bar you get 25% off.. Scored it for $2774 with a Soundbar..then went back after a week when the offer was over to check wall mounting and got that for just $100 and a $500 gift voucher which was the current offer going on..so damm lucky to get all this..so if I sell the soundbar for even $200..final cost will be $2774+100-200-500= $2174..pretty damm happyyyyy π
Great deal man, but you don't need to keep bragging about it in every comment thread on TCL TVs.
Hahaha ofcourse have too..as I am still not able to believe it..so everyone time I do.. It sinks a little more in π
OOS?
