3xl at Macpac still available for same price https://www.macpac.com.au/macpac-mens-halo-down-jacket-%E2%9…

  • Thanks OP grabbed three, one for me and one each for two friends, and it was only like five minutes before the sale ended at 10pm!

  • oh missed the deal

    • it's back just letting you know

  • I paid too much! $139.99 - $20 club joining credit (but I did use $120 in gift cards from Woolies, so $12 Woolies credit) 🤬

    • How'd you get the $12 woolies credit?

      • Gift cards $100 + $20 * 20 =2400 woolies points (IE. Tcn ultimate cards)

picked mine up, super wrinkly. Love how the pocket is now the bag!
Used my Kmart steam iron and got it all out in 2mins. Looks good!

    • Thanks for tip. I gotta buy one, but do u press against the fabric? Or dangerous might burn the delicate puffer?

      • It's actually called Garment steamer. Not iron… and i press against it for it as it's just steam

  • I normally wear medium sized jackets, however this macpac medium size is too big for me such that the sleeves extend beyond my finger tips. I've had to exchange it for the small size.

For these jackets the general consensus is to size down.

  • can you get the wrinkles out of it, I got one too, left it on cloth hanger overnight but still terrible, nowhere near like in the picture….

  • be the macpac amongst the kathmandus

Picked one up. Not worth $100 ,let slone $280.

It doesn't look like a durable material at all, considering it's sold at an Adventure store.

    • What do you plan on doing with it that you think it won't be durable enough for you?

    • Its a puffer, none of them are durable. You need a hard or soft shell if you want to use it "outdoors"

  • Received mine a couple days ago.

Great quality, I'm normally an XL and got a XXL and it fits great, good long sleeves.

Any jacket that is equally warm but not as fluffy like a Michelin man?

  • I got one on the last deal, instant go to for a lightweight warm jacket when heading out it's that good!

Got a question for other owners, how do I get the wrinkles out? It came bundled in a tiny pouch and weeks after it's still super wrinkly.

I ordered one of these 2 weeks ago.
They are good quality, semi waterproof (rain drops) and very hot, had to unzip it and Im in Melbourne.

The normal selling price for these should be $49.95 at best. The quality is so so.

    • Complete rubbish, link me to another 'down' jacket retailing for $49.95 or less.

Maybe you got a bad one out of the box which should have been returned straight away? The quality of the one I got was perfectly fine and I was singing its praises for its warmth and wind stopping ability while I walked around a damp and dreary Melbourne recently.
