  Neh. Ram is soldered. 16GB is "okay" for Win11.

  Otherwise okay price for a work laptop. Nothing beats the old deal P14s 7840u and 32GB for $1.4k.

              @Sopzo: I have been keeping an eye out. Their new gen T and L ryzens are both with sodimm slots.

              Depends. Plenty for consumer grade laptops. Not so much for business grade (more robust).

              Some weeks ago, lenovo had a L14 Gen 5 Ryzen 7 7735U (6800u rebranded) with 32GB for $14xx. Not sure if pricing is the same still. Otherwise check eBay for Elitebook 845.

              I have posted a few laptop deals, mostly work machines than for gaming.
