A new record low price on this previously popular Android tablet that offers impressive performance and features for the price. This model has superseded the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 with changes compared to the MediaTek variant including a larger 12.7" LCD display with a higher 144Hz refresh rate, 8GB RAM and a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU. While it has lost the OLED panel I personally think the larger display with better RAM/CPU/GPU is worth more.

The other notable change is that this is running the Chinese ROM with Lenovo's ZUI themed Android. Since the global version uses the slower MediaTek Dimensity 7050 it's not possible to reflash this with a global ROM. Fortunately Google Play and Widevine L1 DRM for Netflix HD work perfectly fine on the Chinese ROM with ZUI. You must enable Google Play Services in Settings before using Google Play.

Featuring ZUI 15 (Android 14), 12.7" 2944x1840 LCD display with 400nits brightness, HDR10 & Dolby Vision, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage with microSD support, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 10200mAh battery with 20W fast charging, 4 JBL Speakers with Dolby Atmos, 2 inbuilt mics, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint reader, WiFi 6 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB-C video out w/ 4K@60Hz and pogo pins for keyboard.

  • Chinese ROM but just set Android language to Engrish?

    • +7

On a serious note the CN ROM has Chinese and English only. The only real issue you may encounter with English is that apostrophes may be formatted with an extra space like this "I' m". The fix is to change the system font.

    • For the life of me, I cannot find the thing that showed me how to flash the official global rom. It's somewhere on this site. Someone posted it once. I've flashed mine and I love it. Minimal bloat.

      • +2

Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant. I used it to reflash my Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 to the global ROM no issue. Obviously you can't do the same with the 2023 version.

      • Can you lock the bootloader again after flashing it with Global rom?

        • +1

Using Lenovo's RSA there's no bootloader unlocking and locking. It's the official flash tool and does everything for you.

    Dang only $270?…

I think my Xiaoxin pad pro /p11 pro 2020 sd730g vers. was like $430+ back when I bought it a coupl yrs back ?‼️

  • It comes down to $240 for me after applying 3300 coins. Super tempting.

    • what this coins you have good sir?

      • You get coins everytime you purchase for example i have 20282 coins at present got it for $232.40

        • woahwie…

how do i check i might have sum

        • How much $ value have you purchased over the years to have accrued 5 figures in coins lol? Or do they offer bonus promos time to time?

          • @vawiyoci: I think it's only one year if you check in coins page every day, since it gives 50-70 coins a day. Hardest part is remembering to do it.

  • Bought but was looking for the 11.2 inch mediatek 1300 version seems to not be available

  • How does this compare to the Leno m11 which is $249, considering buying the nephew an device for YouTube, as his broken two iPads in last year not worth buying another iPad

    • +1

I've got the M11 and Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 OLED, both from previous deals.

I've done some anecdotal side by side comparisons on some high definition YouTube content, and can personally say the OLED is pretty bloody amazing for media content. Watching at nighttime it's like I'm looking into a void of darkness, compared to the slight grey you see with the M11. Those blacks be very black. The processor is noticeably snappier on the Xiaoxin too, which is expected.

That being said, M11 is decent too, my kids primarily use it for Reading Eggs and Netflix type content, and it hasn't skipped a beat. Came with a pen and 4G capability. Depends on your use case I guess.

Do we think 2022 OLED model will go back on sale? I can't really find listings of it on AliExpress.

While this is cool I feel like the main selling point of these tablets was OLED at the low price, as performance wise this probably still wont be much better than a 9th gen iPad and certainly will have more software issues and less support.

    • Pretty much no stock left with suppliers for the 2022.

      • I got lucky. Got one in the last sale a couple of months ago for under $300, I love it.

  • +1

    Don't need but tempted

  • Nice. Been looking for a decent tablet with a big screen to read and watch for a low price. OLED would be nice and all but this price is too tempting not to buy.

Quick question, your description says "Featuring ZUI 15 (Android 14)" but on the store page, it says ZUI 15 (based on Android 13). So which is it?

    • +2

Lenovo give their devices years of updates. They're up to Android 14 now. It'll be 13 out of the box and OTA update to 14.

  • Can't add it to cart. Maybe OOS?

    • Yeah same. Had it in cart deciding, now says can't ship to address

  • I get this product does not ship to your address?

  • Finally got one for $263 after trying a dozen times.

  • I can't add to cart and keep getting a message saying it won't ship to my address. OOS?

    • Yeah looks like it's sold out now.

      • Any other reputable stores that would get close? Also curious if this works with a pen?

  • Damn - Missed it again…Always late to the party..

  • I wonder why there is no tablet like this (and others like Teclas etc) that comes with Chrome OS? I have Lenovo Duet and I feel that with a keyboard this will have more uses?

    • No it has a fake global ROM with an unlocked bootloader. Quite the nightmare to get the CN ROM onto that.

      • Thx Clear - how do I identify that pls? I am actively looking for this one:
        Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2023 Snapdragon 870 8GB 128GB 256GB ROM 12.7" 144Hz Screen 10200mAh 13MP Camera Android ZUI 15 Tablet PC

        • +1

Any that say Global ROM or in the description have a notice about an unlocked bootloader are going to be dodgy.

  • Thanks, Clear! I bought one this morning. Do you have any recommendations for the keyboard?

    • +1

      check here

Also do some shop around as well..

  • +1

Got this a few days ago from previous deal. Takes 30 min or so to get it looking like a native AUS market tablet.

Snappy and looks good. If it remains that way for a couple of years I'll be very happy at this price.

    • hey cheaplee, do you have any step by step instructions on the above? I will get mine by 8th JUL and I need to also do what you did with my device Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2023

      • This is what I've watched to set it up. https://youtu.be/5H0HXX_GLjk?si=dbIqbgQlv5D0syOv

      • It's no different to any other device with respect to disabling all the apps you don't want, which generally have non-english names.

Google how to enable 'google services', install play store from Lenovo store and off you go.

  • Damn missed out. Coupon is meant to expire today though. Any other similar deals?

  • Is it worth spending AUD 319.30 for 8GB/256GB Model? Above link works for that one.

  • Recieved mine.. Quality blew me away.. Screen is brilliant.. Sound is brilliant..

    • Not an oled tho so no deep blacks aye

    • Nice tho!! Yeah the speakers r noice on these tablets =) 4 speakers !!

  • +1

For anyone who has finally received their tablet and would like to set it up. Try watching this video. https://youtu.be/5H0HXX_GLjk?si=dbIqbgQlv5D0syOv .
The tablet is incredible for the price. Picture quality and sound is impressive as well as the size of the screen. It's massive.

    • You are a LEGEND my friend - Thanks

    • Hey mate, my Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad pro is shipped with Android 13. Would you know how to upgrade it to 14 pls?

      • +1

Sorry man. Since all I care about is reading and watching on it, haven't bothered with learning how to do it.

  • Now coming up as $375 with tax - I need a new coupon in next 48 hours so it arrive before I travel overseas.

  • Thanks, OP! I received mine yesterday and the pad is awesome! Now I can finally retire my Samsung Tab A7. And, while waiting for a proper case, I'm using a Dell sleeve from this deal.

  • Mine got delivered yesterday and I set it up today. Followed the YouTube link that asaboy posted above. I did have to slow it down to follow one or two of the bits but was pretty straightforward.

Uninstalled or disabled all the CN junk apps and installed Nova Launcher.

Will be mainly used for media and light browsing.

Pretty happy with it so far and definitely worth the price.

    • I used to use nova launcher such a classic haha .

Have ya ever gave Lawnchair 2 a ago? (not 3)

and install Lawn feed for google sidebar addon

      • I've checked it out on a phone awhile ago but haven't given it a good run. But I'll def have another look

    • You happen to know if nova launcher has the option to split screen apps from the popup menu? I've tried looking but can't find it. The stock launcher you can long press the taskbar shortcuts and choose to add the app to split screen.

Currently sticking to stock because that feature is faster to use than stock android split screen.

      • I don't know what you mean by popup screen. Is that the gesture at the top of screen, like a small bar?
But yeah I have been able to split screen on nova pretty easily.
Don't have tab on me atm to double check.

  • Just received my Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 & I must say its amazing. Its worth buying this for under $320. If you are planning to buy this, just buy it- You will not regret at all. Its massive, easy to configure ( took like 20 mins to. configure & remove all chinese apps ) - changed youtube settings so we can enjoy videos in HD quality. Screen is great/smooth and tablet itself is awesome.

    • How to change the name of apps and did the language change to English and how do you get playstore?

      • +1

this video is all you need.
Once the initial setup is done, install MS Swift keyboard and delete the existing seguo keyboard.
Also install few apps like EX File Manager, DevCheck

        • did you order the case or pen?any accessories

          • @Nickbag: I did order the case and screen protector. I don't really need a pen for this tablet. its very expensive for my usage
