You'll be happier with the Garmin - it will last a LOT better than the FitBit.
My wife and I have been through no less than 7 fitbits. The charge 5 we had 5 fail inside 11 months - if they get any heat on them and humidity, you will in all likelihood get a white screen failure.
I moved to the Garmin Venu 2 after playing with these toys and can say its far better than any FitBit I had and will last longer.
Yes it's been great so far — though thankfully I have had decent experiences with Fitbit so I guess I was lucky. Had a charge 4 for 3.5 yr prior, battery life certainly took a hit after a while but still worked fine, and folks have a couple of inspires that are chugging along OK

ebay price should be the same/similar, even if the manufacturer has a sale.

Problem is when store profits from ebay codes by artificially keeping product price higher than it's normally selling for elsewhere….
the way I see it Charge 5 is an old model so $168 is standard current price.
so this deal is $7 cheaper. not a great price but cheaper.Charge 6 came out october 2023 and Charge 7 is around the corner.
could be cheaper imo Charge 4 went for like $70 I think when it was this old. it didn't have nfc pay though.
my bad they look so similar I was thinking of the Inspire model that's what went for $70 in 2020 and was regularly $160 3 years earlier in 2017 which was 1 year after release. that model never got NFC pay.
I would suggest getting the Charge 6 instead as their are known issues with the Charge 5 bricking after a firmware update.
Charge 5 has nfc pay for anyone wondering. seems like the thin design would be less in the way than a thicker model with nfc pay.
