          That’s a fact not the fact. You’re assuming that there can only be one fact. You would be correct in saying it beats big w on price that would be the fact. However another fact could be that not having to sign up for afterpay beats the gamesmen

        Over 1,000 PS5 games and none are classed decent for you? They all use the PS5’s capabilities from APU power, SSD fast loading to DualSense features. So much so that it’s 2019-specs are starting to lag behind in newer games (with poor optimisation jointly to blame too).

          Where are these actual ‘PS5 games’ you speak of that utilise the actual PS5 capabilities?

          Name at least 20 actual PS5 games….. Difficult, isn’t it?

          Almost 4 years into its cycle, the PS5 games library is shamefully anaemic from actual PS5 games that are tailored for it. (i.e. original games that are NOT cross-gen/ non-pc ports or remakes/ remasters….few to date are also barely exclusive to PS5 as well)

          It’s a silly PlayStation console generation to date frankly - relative to PS4, 3, 2 & 1 (even the PSP!) - considering its life span thus far.

          Personally, the primary reason I jumped into the PS5 early on was to escape the ‘jet engine’ that was my PS4….Barely anything on PS5 (to date) is actually worth the actual system specs - apart from maybe FFVII Rebirth…(albeit barely as well)

          Where are the current-gen games that look like the unreal engine 5 demos? (Matrix and that nanite demo?)

          Seems like the first actual PS5 utilising hardware game may be GTA6. (hopefully the floodgates open shortly after…)

            @YoursTruly: What magical PS5 capabilities do you think are not being utilised? It's the equivalent of an RTX 2070S give or take, an upper-mid-high range GPU from 2019. It's tapped out on many games hence heavy reliance on upscaling and/or limitation to 30 FPS is rampant. Partly due to lacking power, partly due to poor dev optimisation.

            The PS5 generation was focused on SSD fast loading and DualSense features, which nearly all PS5 version games support. Beyond that, it's just a higher performance PS4 (albeit with some added features like RT-support).

            None. That's the point… the PS5 isn't powerful enough for that engine and it's feature-set.

            GTA6 will be 30 FPS for the same reason. The PS5 isn't powerful enough anymore.

            @YoursTruly: So true, only reason I did too and I upgraded my PS4 Pro as as well, turning it off and still hearing the ringing in my ears like I was at a concert front row haha.

            @Hybroid I said a decent game, your COD and Helldivers 2 aren’t decent games if you were going to blurt those out!

        FF16. It'll be a while before the PC will be powerful enough to run it without Square doing extensive work to optimise it for the platform.

      You said it bro. I already have a PS5 and with only truly a handful of PS5 only titles, it is gathering dust. The Xbox Showcase yesterday morning was really mind blowing, really now makes me wonder if I should now go and get one Series X too. Damn first world problems.
