    This has 20% less max volume and doesn't have HDMI 4K 120Hz video passthrough.
    930D has 60Hz passthrough.

        I'm waiting for the 990D to drop to around $1000.

  I have the Q930B. Amazing soundbar but just have issues with eArc and free to air tv sound. Can’t get Dolby digital from channel 7 without turning earc off. Just get stereo pcm.

  I bought the q930C on runout a few months ago for $660 and it's miles ahead of my previous Yamaha YAS-209B which I had thought was decent. I suppose this is a reasonable for people who want something now.
