    The arks main selling point is that it can have up to 4 inputs on the screen at once, so 3x PC and console at the same time for example.

  If I don't need a monitor for gaming but only for productivity (i.e. multiple windows opened at the same time) I guess I only need to get one of those ultrawide monitors instead of this?

    If refresh rate and response time arent important to you (which they shouldnt be for productivity), then you dont need a gaming monitor.
