BG’s Notes:

  • Select only one of the 2 designs with the Prime logo from the landing page via OP’s link as these are the only 2 designs eligible for the promo
  • Once you have entered the promo code at checkout and if you have removed the gift card and re-adding back, the coupon entered previously would still show. Otherwise, switch to desktop mode and on your right of your screen it should say before proceeding to pay:

A lot of up vote for 6% discount. Don’t shopback usually offer $5 on $50?

    • +1

this is good for amazon au. 10000 claims is also good. usually says few thousand. although I don't know how much you can believe it could just be fomo and be unlimited.

normally it’s $10 for $200 and sometimes $10 for $250 GC deals and users aren’t impressed.

seems like lots of users HODLing so they finally offered this.

worst ever promo I saw was $10 off $1000 spend for selected items. (1% really?)

I agree. But this isn't limited to a specific card and Amazon is very popular.

    • For Amazon AU Gift Cards? They're cashback has dropped down to 1.75% from the previous 2%. I haven't seen any bonuses in a long time…

ETA: Cashrewards has 2% on their Amazon AU gift cards now, and you can input any amount that you want (e.g., $24.76).

      • SB has done a bunch of Westpac(less so)/St.George/Bank of Melbourne/BankSA challenges recently (some Amazon and some for Swap cards that could be swapped for Amazon), CR had a recent $10 bonus on $150 spend. If you don't mind Eneba they recently had a deal that was ~7% off $50 Amazon GCs.

    thanks OP. its work

  • Lol what bullshit the code worked then later I got an email that they cancelled my purchase "at my request"

the $5 promotional code only applied to your next purchase of eligible item(s) shipped and sold by Amazon AU. it won't show as your credit.

The promotional credit must be used by 31 July 2025

    • +1

      Correct. Can confirm.

  • do I have to be a prime member to get this offer?

  • +1

Still good! Got the promo credit about 5 minutes later. Thanks OP

    • +1

Where did you find the credit? from email?

      • +2

it only shows in checkout stage after you add something shipped and sold by amazon au.

so if you want to check if it's there, just add item then go to checkout stage you should see -$5.00 applied. then you can just go back and remove item from cart.

        One promotional credit per customer.

    Thanks. bought one

  • Was about to checkout with the code being accepted (without completing the purchase), but went back to ozbargain on the same tab since I wa dusting mobile to double check terms, and now when I try to enter code, even with a new order I get “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.“ :/

Edit: ok I saw my first gift card added to save for later: Amazon.com.au eGift Card - Prime Membership Benefits $80. So the benefit already got applied on my account I’m assuming so I just purchased that. Also saw @double_J’s comment above sorta confirming this.

  • Still working, just ordered an $80 card, applied to my account and promo credit was immediately ready for use after.

  • I've tried this twice ($80 GC each, tried both eligible designs), its been a few days and never got the promo code. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, not Prime fwiw

  • Prime member and not working.

  • Worked fine for me!

    • Same here.

  • The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

    • Didn't read properly: 'Select only one of the 2 designs with the Prime logo'

  • It didn't work when I selected the first GC image and tried to load $79, but worked when I selected the 2nd GC and loaded $80.

    • tried that, not working anymore, maybe 10k plus have already used the voucher

      • "You successfully redeemed your promotional code."
Confirmed that code still valid on 22 Jun. Redeemed just now.

  • Received the confirmation email that they've added the promotional credit to my account, but when I add an item to cart, it doesn't show the $5 deduction. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong?

    • Was that item that you added sold and shipped by Amazon AU

      • +1

Arghh, I just remembered why I avoided these promos and their T&C's. The item I was interested in is shipped by Amazon AU but not sold by them. I just wasted all that time…

EDIT: Thanks for your reply, BargainsGrabber

  • what exactly is amazon eligible product… i can only think of amazon devices…

i tried micro sd card, none is accepted… cant seem to find too many things to apply the $5 promo discount

    • +1

Any items sold and shipped by Amazon AU

  • My account is now on hold temporarily after buying the gift card… 😂

  • the promo is still valid, got the $5 credit

  • +1

    Still valid as of today

  • +1

    Still working 29/06

  • How long does it take for the giftcard to deliever? Ordering for last min CBA Yello order while i havent received the order email nor a debit from my CBA account…

    • i think amazons gift card processing is broken today based on other thread with loads of ppl including me reporting the same thing

i expect it will be sorted out tomorrow when someone drags their ass into work and turns something off and back on again

  • i see 3 design which are the 2 ?

    nevermind 2 primes
