Would this replace the need for an apple device to be a bridge to use the applekit smart garage door opener?

  It looks like this is a bluetooth->wifi hub.
  Garage door open is already wifi, so homekit still needs the apple->internet hub (e.g. atv or ipad).
  (garage door opener already works remotely on internet with the meross app)

    Shame, I don't have any of those devices so I can't pull the pin on an applekit smart opener. I have a non apple one but I really want the CarPlay functionality to open the garage door when I arrive home

      Yeah this is a hub for BT accessories that are on the zigbee and other, type platform.
