A nice Submariner homage with a grab & go quartz movement.

Yes, it would look good on you.

    • Are you in sales/marketing? You should be.

    Good price

  • Case diameter: 41mm (excluding head)

  • Nice find Chazster. You can't get much better than this for a stainless steel quartz beater under $50, bargain.

  • Beautiful watch. Rocking it as my daily, got it from the last deal.

  • For that price point how could you not. Snagged one up.

  • Thanks, got one. It was $45 after conversions.

  • Have the green and black, and it's very hard to complain about.

  • Killer deal for such a great beater. The Steeldive version of this is around $80-85 delivered for their version of the Submariner, differences:

    • NH35 automatic (vs quartz)
    • Sapphire crystal
    • Slightly different case finishing

    Oyster bracelet sd1953 $85

    Jubilee bracelet sd1953 $80

thank you, i hate quartz. i can no longer use anything that doesn't have a sweeping hand.

      • That’s a shame - you’re cutting yourself off from the wide world of solar powered watches that will won’’t need a battery change for years & years. And how about the hi-beat quartz which will be just as smooth and more accurate than any automatic? I mean, you do you, but I don’t understand why people pooh-pooh quartz all the time - it doesn’t make sense to me.

      • Per Chazz, the mechaquartz found in certain Seikos and various AE watches do a fine job of mechanical mimickry.
I know it's an illusion and a fresh battery will be needed down the line, but it's fun while it lasts.

And Eco drive — don't get me started! My heart was BROKEN in January, I'm still not over it. Doesn't help when teaser shots are posted either :'(

  • Which citizen/Seiko is this based on?

    • +1

Neither. It's an homage to a Rolex Submariner.

    • But the movement is a $10 Miyota 2115.
Miyota is a division of Citizen.

      • Have you got one?

        • Not the Addie, but the movement is in a Naviforce somewhere. Dead battery I think.
