There were some issues with cashback tracking/disappearing a while back but it appears to have been fixed. My orders from the last deal have been fine.

    • +1

I second that. Mine were also initially denied but were automatically corrected to reflect the cashback and bank bonus amounts.

  • +5

Code MAYP15 is better if it works on your purchase unless it can stack.

    • Not if it’s a transaction of $200 MAX and you have a Westpac card..

  • +2

Codes no longer work with Shopback at all? They supported them in the past on occasion.

  • +1

@Hiphopopotamus I only see Westpac giving the 10% bank bonus…
The StG BoM only standard 2%

    • +1

@Hiphopopotamus Same. It's only Westpac giving 10% for eBay

      • You guys are right, I was seeing the old 10% upsize that was 'Completed/Reward Pending'.

        • +3

That's okay man, your lyrics are bottomless.

  • +2

Any purchases made with the use of coupon or Voucher codes are not eligible for Cashback

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but this includes the $5 off $35 monthly spend eBay Plus code, right? @gotyourback

    • +1

Would like to know the same as well please.

    • +5

As per condition you quoted, it's clear they aren't accepted. It will track but ultimately cashback will be rejected.

  • Take screenshots of any codes listed on their website lol.

    • No eligible coupons are currently listed.

  • Does wishlist equal watchlist? So if I have something currently in my watchlist and I purchase it today at 4pm, it won't be eligible?

    • +2

Copy your specific item’s listing title, remove from Wish/watchlist, re-run eBay via SB, Paste exact listing, voila.

      • +1

Thanks, so as long as I delete the item from my watchlist then search and buy, I should be fine.

    • +3

Never had an issue tracking from watchlist in the past. As long as it wasn't in cart it was fine. Seems like an annoying condition if wishlist equals watchlist.

      • +1

Also never had issues buying from my Watchlist.

I thought this was an issue with Amazon, so maybe SB has copied the text over without verifying?

        • I go from my lists in Amazon without any issues so that's why I was worried about this condition.

I received tracking this morning so all good!

  • +3

Q: is the $20 SB cap per order or per account?

    • +1

Always in the past it’s per order but yeah. Would be a good idea to clarify :)

      • How recent is the "always in the past"?

May 2024 — no definitive answer from new rep, but users reported 1 cashback per customer/account (when nothing was mentioned in the T&Cs,) or
December 2021 — old rep wrote it is 1 cashback per transaction/order by default unless specifically excluded in the T&Cs.

Obviously they cannot both be true.

        • November 2023 Was my last time :)

      • I feel it’s safe it’s per order.

It says all orders placed capped at $20. Doesn’t mention account

  • Any recommendations for 3d filament? JAYO still hasn't restocked the main colours

Buying overseas items from AU Ebay site is okay to claim Cashback?
    Thanks.

    • Correct. Only cb will exclude the GST and Postage part.

      • Recently purchased a watch from overseas supplier and was stupid enough to forget import charges. On $1136 paid $247 in GST import tax and another charge of $92. Unlike Amazon, eBay doesn't indicate these charges at payout step check out page.Never again dummy.

        • They actually do breakdown the GST and Postage at the checkout page. Unless I’m not reading you right.

  • Will it stack with any code? ~20% off is pretty average on eBay. Might get something if it stacks

    • +1

No stack. Most of the code stuff are jacked anyway so in the best case they are ~10% off. The main problem with this cashback is the low cap. And risk of not tracking.

      • I only want to spend $150 before discount, so I don't mind the low cap, but without discount code, I can just wait for now

      • Only had an issue once which was big if I didn’t check (like $400 tracked but then went to $0) but suspicious of it. Other then that haven’t has issues

  • Anyone know how (if) this will work for something I make an offer on? ie - if I make an offer to buy something at 2pm and the seller accepts at 3pm - if I click thru to eBay via Shopback after 4pm to complete the purchase and pay thru eBay; will this track?

    • I've tried this before for a challenge and while the offer tracked at the later time it didn't count towards the challenge

    • I believe it doesn’t work on a custom offer.
But, will work for pre-loaded offers from the seller eg. Buy more save more.

  • Will this offer stack with HGT120? It's showing under the product I want to get, so it's available to the public and not some private discount code. Very new to this. Thanks.

    • I was wondering too but it does say no coupons

  • If the seller makes me a personal offer which I accept and purchase within the cashback window, will this track on Shopback?

    • +1

U can try, but again I believe it won’t work as I previously mentioned above
If u do try and it works, please let us know ☺️

  • orders done, now pray to the cashback gods that it tracks.

  • How long does it usually take for shopback to track ebay purchases?

    • Generally ~6-24 hours.

      • Thanks…
“They call me rhyme-nocerous, my lyrics are bottomless…”

  • For Westpac 10% bonus cashback, does the eligible Westpac card need to be under the same name as the shopback account holder ?

  • Cheers , made an order

  • -1

Ensure that you DO NOT add products to your eBay wishlist and purchase/bid over 24 hours later, as Cashback may not be awarded

Not really clear about this part :|
I just won a bid around 4:20pm the item was in my watch list. Will it be eligible?

    • +1

You need to pay between the promotion time period

      • Oh, thanks! Yeah I got it, but my little silly brain just won't wrap itself around that information

  • Can anyone confirm/deny that the full order amount will be tracked (for the westpac part) as long as any $.01 is paid by a westpac card, like before?

Or have they changed it such that only the portion paid by the westpac card is eligible for the westpac bonus?

    • +1

My latest eBay transaction using split GC/card payment that the bonus tracked for was made on 30/5.

  • $20 per account or per transaction?

  • Best to read comments to make an informed decision :) it’s only one page ;)

  • Wait for the tracking

  • If an item is on a 5% discount, do you think it will stack with the 10% cashback? The 5% isn't through a voucher so I reckon it should?? :/

    • +1

As long as no voucher code is used, it will work

      • Thanks! :)

  • So using linked westpaccard is 20% cash back???

  • +2

Tracking just came through for me, ~6 hours.

  • Tracking came through
