Damn, Elvis can't even sell out the Crown Theatre in 2024 :(

Saw it in Adelaide. It's decent - really enjoyed the set, choreography, and singing, but the story is pretty bad. It's the story of Elvis but with the underlying themes and ideas bashed across your face like a year 9's writing project. The songs are just snippets as well, so you're not getting a 40 song concert by any means.
Still for $10 a ticket I'd say worth it, it was fun.

  • Worth a try for 10 bucks a ticket

Just a note, given Crown theatre can be kinda squishy, I'd really recommend buying 4 tickets if there's 2 of you…

Kinda not what I expected from you. Possibly taking tickets away from people that really want to go. Bit entitled, bit disappointed.

      HAVING SAID THAT.

This promo has been going on for two weeks or so now so I'm thinknig they really can't fill the seats (especially the matinees)

I went last weekend on these tickets and it is pretty much full house (except they aren't using the upper 2nd level seating deck),

Seats given were in B Row (so pretty much at the back of the flat seats) and G for a relative

      • This promo has been going on for two weeks or so now so I'm thinknig they really can't fill the seats (especially the matinees)

My mum went, FYI, and had to deal with someone nearby bringing their toddler due to how cheap the tix were, which ruined the first half of the show.

Neg me all you want, but they can't fill seats so they're doing these promos (and 50% off through the main ticket site).

  • Will Elvis be there?

  • Lol TEN DOLLAR booking fee PER ticket? Each ticket is hand drawn I presume?

I thought there was an ACCC rule about wildly inflated "fee" prices and how they actually had to be somewhere near the real cost of doing business (in those case approximately zero dollars)

    • In this case I would actually agree that it is $10 cause it includes them manually booking the tickets with Ticketmaster and then picking up said tickets at the box office (as they never came through email as advised) - not sure if Ticketmaster gets the $10 or whether it is Promotix that gets it

  • All four sessions are OzBargained!

    • It’s now an unofficial Perth OzBargain event ! 🤣

    • @cristobaljames there are more now up

  • Thanks OP. a great deal.
