Lightning deal ending tonight at 21:20, regular price $24.99; because not everyone wants a 4-pack. These work the same as AirTags minus precision finding but with a louder chime and on/off button.

    • Sure, I scored a 4-pack at that price but I gather not many others succeeded.

  • This is exactly the same as the units sold on AliExpress. Have a look there as I recently picked up some for less than $5 a piece. All in I got 4 for less than this single unit, and because it was the AliExpress Choice program thing they have it turned up in less than a week.

Why not post it then? Plenty of demand as travelling iPhone users are putting these in their checked bags Some purchasers prefer Amazon customer service to AliExpress. I've been selling AirTags orphaned from 4-packs for $45 on eBay.

  • Yes just got 4 on Aliexpress for under $5 each delivered. Took 1 week to arrive amazingly.

  • Do these actually work like the air tags in that they report location though any apple device nearby ?

Apple announced the Find My Network Accessory Program back in 2021. I have these Atuvos tags and they work the same as AirTags (minus precision tracking). The only thing I can't comment on yet is battery endurance.

      • What is precision tracking

        • ‌AirTag‌s have a U1 Ultra Wideband chip so iPhones can apply Precision Finding which displays direction and distance to a lost ‌AirTag‌ when it's in range. More precise than Bluetooth alone.

    • They report location to both Apple and the CCP so you’re covered.

  • Used mine in Japan for the tip last week. Worked okay

Looks like a lot more work to take the speaker out on mine.

  • Does it use UWB?

    • Bluetooth LE, less accurate, more affordable
