  • code doesn't work for me :/

    • Its a targeted code, but even at 69$$ its a decent price.

      • FYI - This has a resin case, only the bracelet is SS.

And the width is 35.5mm according to Casio.

    Love a good 'CASOIO' watch….

    • I noticed that too and thought it was a duplicate, but it's sold and fulfilled by Amazon. So no issues there.

    • +1

Is it a genuine CASOIO though?

    • Yeah… great find JV, that looks like it's headed straight for landfill within 6 months of purchase.

No way I'd pay anything close to $135 for some no-name vintage Pulsar P2 knock-off. At least this Casio will probably outlive your children.

      • How long is the warranty on the Casio one?

        • 2 years, not that it matters as I've owned probably close to 40 Casios in my life ranging from sub-$50 to over $1,000 and I've never once had to make a warranty claim on a single one.

Your Bali special doesn't even say it has a warranty.

          • @Miami Mall Alien:

I've owned probably close to 40 Casios in my life

Wow… I'm guessing they are lasting less than 2 years on average.

@jv: Hurr hurr… JV pulling out the big guns from his 1001 Dad Jokes collection.

I buy and resell watches constantly but I've got Casios that are over 15 years old at this point and they're still running fine.

    • +1

      wtf is that haha

      • +9

It's just JV trying to hit his daily +20 post quota with pointless filler material.

        • +1

It’s >40 comments per day on average

          • +1

            @ak47wong: Lol… wtf.

Last I checked, JV was averaging 20 comments per day.

If only Centrelink knew how hard he was working at not having a job, they'd definitely give him a raise.

    • Would go an Armitron Griffy over that for sure.

  • How much is the 4G version?

  • +2

40 years ago I was all over this. Staring at the window of that chemist, what was it again…Soul Pattinson…?

    • Not the one with the calculator?

      • No, Pulsar wasn't even in the picture for a while longer. It's usually Timex or Casio.

  • I recently picked up a Submariner ref. 126613LB, how would it compare to this as a daily driver?

    • +3

      This one looks better.

    • +1

The Casio looks better, is more comfortable and tells the time better

  • +1

Thanks op for this price, I couldn't pass it up

    • +1

Same here. I already have a Vintage gold Casio A168WG on the way. I bought it from
A168WG. So I now have a dual collection of digital Casios.

  • For kid 7 years old, is it look ok to have Stainless steel band? I think look better with rubber band? Thanks for your experience.

    • +2

I think look better with rubber band?

      Just get the Casio F91W-1 then… $26.00.

      • +1

Thanks bought one for my son.

This is for the kids of the 80s. Ask if he likes it first.

  • Anyone know a good cheap watch that can withstand a sauna or steam room? Or a little hourglass even.

  • Nice

  • +1

When I was an 90's kid, I'm sure I had a similar one with an elastic metal band.

That mofo pinched my skin like no tomorrow.

    • A trick i do is put scotch tape underneath the band.

  • V nice
